Daytona Milton Keynes dmax sprint race

Saturday 7th April 16.15 (booking time)
A last minute decision to book on for a DMAX sprint race at Daytona Milton Keynes turned out to be a good choice.
Sun was shining track was dry. But during the briefing the weather changed and boy did it look like it was going to chuck it down. Luckily the rain clouds didn’t hang around to long and just missed us as we headed out for practice/Qualifying.
Best lap (4) out of 10 Practice/qualifying 67.093
So that was good enough for P5 out of 18
Race start !
I had a great start putting me in 3rd after the first two corners and managed to stay there for the rest of the race. Wasn’t that easy tho as you’ll see in the video.
We also had full circuit yellows for 3 laps as a kart had broken down and they needed to recover it.
Which bunched us all up again.

Made it an interesting restart!
Best lap (16) out of 17 (65.816)
Was pushing hard as 4th was right behind me!!
Happy with the result my 3rd race here
And only my 4th proper karting race.
