I love how when the explosion happens and everyone starts running and screaming while Wednesday just smiles and starts playing intense music like this was her moment
It's was her plan to blow it up with the help of Thing.
@@ssniper-mb7js Yeah yeah, Ik lmao, I just love the way she smiled and started playing her cello so intensely
Wednesday wants her moment because she started the fire she put gasoline and the people couldn't see it so then Thing got a match and lit it
Because chaos doesnt faze her in the slightest lol
@@genogirl2092 damn right!
The fact she actually learned to play the cello for her role is amazing
She learned to act like she was playing, which is quite impressive, though I want to point out that the music you’re hearing isn’t her playing
@@yourstrulydiablo To add to that, there are a couple of places in her rooftop performance that is not even physically possible for one cellist to accomplish. (even the best cellist in the world could not pull it off)
@@yourstrulydiablo yeah obviously, it has background instruments and is a piece of music only multiple cellos could play. But Ortega learned how to play the cello so that the motions could look realistic
@@classichumorvids4618 yup! I don’t know if this is what you had in mind, but for example there’s one moment where she should be playing pizzicato, but in the scene she’s bowing.
Also I want to clarify that I’m not saying this to nitpick or be petty. I think it’s incredible how Jenna learned to act as if she was playing - her fingerings are actually right a lot of the times (as far as I know, I’m not a cellist but I am a violinist) and when they aren’t, she still makes it look realistic. I’d just like to point out that the music we are hearing isn’t her playing, but she’s doing an amazing job at acting like she is playing. I just don’t want people to start believing that it’s possible to master an instrument, ESPECIALLY the cello, in two months. It takes YEARS and YEARS of practice. Again, Jenna should be praised for how much she accomplished in those two months, BUT people shouldn’t start believing that she has mastered the instrument or anything
@@benjaminhager6285 yeah, exactly! And I have a massive amount of respect for that, considering most actors I’ve seen “playing music” in movies do a horrible job at portraying it. So kudos to Jenna, it does look incredibly realistic! The only reason why I commented was because I don’t want people to get the wrong idea, that she is the one playing. It’s pretty much impossible to achieve that in two months. But what she HAS achieved in those two months is indeed impressive! I already loved Jenna due to her incredible acting in the series, but the fact that she took her time with cello lessons to make Wednesday’s playing look realistic made me love her even more
I hope that Wednesday will play cello more in the next season!🖤🖤🖤
Is there a session coming
@@zeadmohamed2064 I hope that season 2 will be released next year!
Maybe season2 will be released in 2024
It's been confirmed today that there will be a season 2.
@@inspector920 its gonna be out in 2024 :/
i love the cello scenes its pure beautiful
The fact that Jenna really took class for the Cello scenes also quite interesting.
@@carents8746 i love it
Yes 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
@@carents8746 ❤😊Lina
Agree
Everyone loves the dance part but this is probably my favorite scenes
The dance part is iconic, but cello scenes hits different 🔥
@@carents8746 fr
IKR?!
yep
same
I love how the song Wednesday plays during the panic perfectly captures the energy of what's happening, as if she's playing music to accompany and emphasize the chaos.
Roman Emporer Nero burned Rome so he could play some song he wrote with an apprpiate bachdrop.
This scene is that to a tee.
Four seasons: Winter by Vivaldi
Vivaldi, four seasons, usually played on solo violin with accompaniment.
it’s obvious she isn’t actually playing, if you esp notice her fingers, but she did such a good job acting as if she was playing ~ her form/posture looks quite good and natural, if you saw her from a distance / don’t notice the details, it looks like she is playing ~ so as a cellist, i really commend her acting on this ! she did a good portrayal of the instrument 🎻 also very proud of the cello representation here !!! such a beautiful instrument ~
Jenna Ortega learned to play the cello for the part, but of course she couldn't actually perform at that level right away.
It was just so funny how Wednesday's music worked so well for the chaotic moment, and through it all she just stood there playing and smirking/smiling.
I love how she managed to play a giant long piece in the film. The cello playing is absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
she just act like shes play
You know Jenna is an AI cgi character right? Just like Elon Musk and the moon..
She was acting like she was playing. The dubbed it over in editing. Parts of the song aren’t even possible. I say this in the nicest way
It is possible
@@watermelonstarhammyexplain how 1 person could play like a whole orchestra
I was a classical clarinet prodigy before my mental illness took over. I’ve always lamented I didn’t choose cello. This Xmas my mum surprised me with an actual cello. I’m so learning !!!
Hey as a cellist I have to say, don't let these be your goal as, well, some of it is physically impossible. If you want an achievable goal, look at concertos (I.e.. Elgar), I wish you the best of luck! : ) (And quick tip, if you get frustrated, just take a break, I learned the hard way you will suffer major burnout, but also don't give up, I believe in you!)
@@mariomario6864 thank you! Given my extensive classical background I fully understand the limitations of how far I can go with the cello.
I have however also found the ukulele. It’s technically much easier but if you understand western classical music and can transcribe pieces that are appropriate it makes a really rewarding instrument to play, especially if you have higher end instruments made of mahogany or koa wood and find the strings that help you create a rich yet still bright tone- I know I’m going to be able to go much further with the uke.
Yayie!!! Happy learning :)
@@stefythomas8472 thank you!! I’m a visual artist, so I have a fully creative life now!
Just to say, since i have a cello, it will be really hard as a beginner but you will eventually make it🎉
I play cello, I could NEVER be able to play a song like that. And also make sure my hand wouldn’t hurt. AMAZING!
If you're a cello player then why did you call it a "Song" even tho it's called a Piece
That's so cool that she is playing Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones. Perfect Wednesday Addams song.
I loved this show. We need season 2
Yes
The choice of music is just... * chefs kiss*. Black door as a slower, brooding background and Vivaldi (I'm about 85% sure) for the chaos. Absolutely lovely.
Yep! That is Vivaldi! Inverno, I believe
Best actress of Wednesday Addams ever. I hope that she'll stay till the end of Netflix Wednesday series.
She's Fantastic, but Christina Ricci is the best
Wednesday's cello is a vibe it's like a darker magical vibe and I love how determined Jenna was that she actually learned to play the cello😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘❤❤💕💕😊😊👍👍👌👌
She does know how to play the Cello, but not completely
My favorite moment is when he starts playing Vivaldi
And that smile on your face 😃
Jenna is beautiful, I really like her
Love how everyone in the second scene screams and runs away while Wednesday just sits there and continues to play Winter like a badass
She the actress of the year for sure!
Wowww so nice to hear “paint it black” from Rolling Stones ❤
Hi
Movie link
My cousin loves that them
Unlike some other movies featuring stringed instruments, Wednesday's bowhold is actually really good
1:49 Her expression is gold.
The best scenes. I also love the moment when Nothing else matters is playing. Magical.
Okay, she's not really playing the cello. Take it from a cellist. But she fakes it pretty damned well. You can see that she learned the basics, which is more than almost anyone else does to play a musician. Her German would also not pass for native; but is likewise _sehr gut._ Kudos to Jenna for taking the role seriously.
I'm learning german since 3 years and I can tell you she makes lots of pronunciation and grammar mistakes
But what if she is playing it? U dont have prove WHATSOEVER. I just think ur just jealous. She puts in a lot of effort to make this work. IF YOU FREAKING HATE HER, THEN SHUT UP AND GET OUT.
I'm saying the english and american people cannot have a good german accent because they can't pronounce the r correctly and the grammar is a latin grammar with accusativ génitiv dativ. As a french I pronounce the r correctly and I know latin so german grammar is simple for me.
@@ongyokelingmoe4940 I don't think you read what I said carefully.
@@ongyokelingmoe4940she isn't playing it though- She worked with a tutor to learn basics so she could do the hand movements correctly and convincingly, but she isn't playing the song directly. You're right, she did put a lot of work into her role and did an amazing job, but she didn't play this piece in the series
God this, and the series is a masterpiece, even the piranha scene, and she smiles. Masterpiece 👏
But that scene is scary a little to me that I am 7 years old
Yes 👍
Now I want to play my violin while fires and explosions in the background 😅
this girl is playing legend 🤩
I love the look of defiance on her face as the statue burns.
This scene of Wandinha playing a solo while the statue is on fire is great!
Are you talking about Wednesday?
@@NeytiriSully659 They are.
@@NeytiriSully659 yea, Wandinha is a translate of Wednesday to Brazilian Portuguese
Wednesday is an old school rock fan.
screw the dance, the cello scenes are BY FAR the best
I love the cello scene!!!
can't stop listening this is so relaxing
Her role is really amazing
🎵I wanna see the sun blocked from the sky, I wanna see it painted painted painted black.🎵
4X on the ‘Painted’
And can’t forget the YEAH at the end

Also paired with Parabellum (Four Seasons winter) I was like wait this sounds very familiar !😁

Wednesday smiled because of the chaos🤩
ужастно
Bruh Jenna looks so hot as Wednesday 😂👌💪
She did an incredible job.
I did watch this web series since last week . This actress are trimidous acting .I love it...
Eu amo ❤️ violão cello, vendo-a tocar, dá até vontade de aprender tbm. A música é linda!
I love the cello scene, I watched all series at once
I love love this character! You go girl. Make another movie soon
Las dos escenas que vi del violonchelo fueron espectaculares! Ambienta la escena perfectamente 👏👏👏👏👏
Jenna hoterga é só talentoooo
Cello scanes is my favorite and the dance Wednesday
Jenna played Cello: she slayed it. She ate and left no crumbs.
I love Wednesday
I love that even the horsehair on her bow is black
Damn! I had no idea she is So FREAKING TALENTED!! LOVE HER!!
you say that as if the actress was actually playing, but she's not. She learned the basics for a few months so she could fake it properly
The one at the end with the fire honestly the music and destruction are perfect, Mwah!
Love the serie. The actriz who plays Wednesday is a Latin raising start, very good, talented, and in real life, she looks nothing like in the serie. Great serie!
Essas melodias são incríveis
eu amoo
I love the way it’s on beat with all the scenes
More Cello please!!!
I love the sound on the violin, I love this scene when she plays
This is incredible she can play like that after just few month !!!
II have been playing the cello for six years and she must be almost my level in just a few months !!!
That is really incredible !!
After six years of playing cello you should at least recognize fake playing :)
@@Livai001 yeah that's fake playing but I think her positionis really good I learn cello when I was young and had a bad posiyion and it take mme a while to correct it
Good scene, she learned to play in a few days or months, I don’t remember, she’s done well, for the sake of the series, she learned to play vioncelli
how good is she!!! not only on this part but also when the statue exploded in episode 3 .
I love wednesday serie 1 and I wanna see Wednesday serie 2 ❤
I love all characters of Wednesday❤️ and also draw some of them.
she just plays awesome
😍
Two of the best scenes that Tim Burton has shot in his entire career.
I personally loved the cello scene when the statue was burning, that one back shot though.
Wish they would have more of this amazing actress playing more Cello
I had this Song in my Playlist and hear it every Single moment i had time for it
Captain here: based on the comic'
Pugsley is not invincible, he only has a strong body and a strong immune system in which he is immune to all poisons. If it's an online game, the simpliest explaination is that Pugsley is a Tanker or a tank. Opposite to wednesday where she is the one who inherited Goody Adams ability. In the comics, anyone who knew Goody Adams is feared, Lycans vamps undead. Goody Adams is the most powerful esper and Pugsley and Wednesday are her Direct descendents or bloodline
Cool
So Pugsley is a a tank class and Wednesday is DPS/sorceress?
I love Wednesday and Enid
Thank you, Rolling Stones ;)
✊️😎
I wished Wednesday addams did I don't care by apocalyptica in the show
ohhh fudge off...what a tease, dang that would have been AWESOME :D \m/

@@_taiemy_3658 hola
She's great
It hits you even harder when you realise the original song name during the show.
ahh...so many years with the Addams Family...where has the time gone...
Super talented young actress; going places for sure
IMO, the cello music adds a tremendous amount of dramatic nuance to both the film and to Wednesday's character. Jenna does a very good job of "playing" the cello. Kudos to her for putting in the time and energy to learn enough cello playing to be able to convincingly act the part. Most 20 year olds have the attention span of a gnat and are too lazy to make the effort. Obviously, one does not learn to actually play the cello to this level in a couple months. She does, however, play well enough to provide a convincing visual portrayal. Acting well often requires substantial amount of both physical and mental work. It is clear that Jenna actually cares about the story and her character and is willing to do the work. This really comes through in her performance and IMO is the key factor for the show's success. Unlike so many other crappy shows that seem to have no respect for the source material and see their show only as a platform for injecting and distributing their own moralizing. Of course, Tim Burton has be given the bulk of the credit for the show. He has shown himself, time and again, to be a master story teller. It is great to see that Mr. Burton provided the kind of environment that allowed Jenna to spread her wings and flourish. I look forward to the next season and I am hoping there will be lots more cello music!
Vivaldi goes really well with explosions.
The first chello scene portrays, the lies and secrects yet to come foreshadowing dark days even darker than Wednesday's makeover.
I never liked nor disliked the cello. After hearing it in Wednesday and seeing Jenna play I discovered I like it or at least the musical pieces you hear in the film plus her theatrics and expressions.
"Paint it Black"
A song written for Wednesday before she was born.
She is absolutely amazing. To learn it as quickly as she did and be that good WOW.
I just noticed Ricci feeding the Venus fly traps…cool homage to original…
👍
She is a psycho in a lovable way
😍😍😍 wish i can find someone like her
Booya on the chaotic psycho part ❤
I love these scenes way more than the dance scenes
Nobody rocks the cello like Wednesday.
Now Paint in black Will back in the hit After 50 years?
I play cello and this was so fun I've been reapeating this
I love it when Principal Weems ran for cover and checked back its Wednesday and boiling inside 😂
Top 2 best Netflix Series of all time: Wednesday and the Queens Gambit
Esta es la escena que más me fascina! Para haber aprendido para la serie, eres excelente!!!!
I play cello too!❤ Jenna Ortega! She rocks!
Haklısın
으~ 카리스마 쩔고 분위기 어쩔....멋쁜 첼리스트
1:15 - The Choir hides in the tower, and they make the song truly AWESOME! 😜🙃
I Love Wednesday cuz she dosent have emotions and when everyone is scared she is like nothing happened!!! 👍
She is even not sensetive!
I think she does have emotions. She just represses them.
Like, she actually cried when Thing almost died and she seemed really emotional as she hugged Enid in the last ep.
@Isa
I mean most of the eps she nearly never smiles, cry or laugh
Вивальди прекрасен. Среда не смогла его испортить.
Boy, everyone really loves that song now.
It was less popular when he created it.
A very stylish video, respect to the creators of this film! By the way. She played the first track, in my opinion, "Black Paint" by the Rolling Stone band.
And just so ya’ll know this song is at least 50 years old. The Rolling Stone version is definitive
You know, as much as I don't watch or into the Addams Family series, I like Wednesday in this movie. Also, how is the explosion not give the Shriner a rude awakening??
That guy was knocked out
