Great video, Guys. Queenstown is definitely designed for the tourists. I lived near there (Arrowtown) and worked in that area for about 8 years so not just spouting off here. You are correct, the town is not really a good example of what the rest of the country is like. But the younger visitors love it. So I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Great video as always, and I think you showed Queenstown perfectly! I used to prefer Wanaka, but the cost of Wanaka is about the same as Queenstown now, but without the infrastructure. I prefer staying in Arrowtown or Cromwell if I can - but there is a reason it's so expensive, I guess - they're stunning! But I remember going through to both for NY celebrations when I was a teenager, and it's hard not to compare what it used to cost to what it costs now. It used to be far more fun 😓
