Im so inlove with UDD. They set the bar high for Filipino music. Majority of pinoy music nowadays is stale. Walang lasa, no depth, no meaning. This goes the same to all forms of entertainment in the Philippines. Tulad ng mga teleserye, pare pareho naman lahat, kahit anong title. Pati movies na pinupush ng mga pinoy publishers, wala man lang meanong. okay sana yong movies na nakakapa-isip talaga, ung tipong movie na u'd get lost in the idea of it all. i first heard UDD more than 6 years ago when i was fresh out of college. i'm very particular when it comes to music and it takes a lot to impress me. when it comes to OPM, i didn't think i'd like anything else after eheads and other exceptional bands in the 90s. but in UDD i heard beautiful music, beautiful lyrics, intelligent performers and a *fresh* sound. this band clearly respects CRAFTSMANSHIP. UDD in this day and age in the local music industry is a gem.
i discovered this song years ago when i was much younger. even though i couldn't relate to its lyrics, i always used to sing it out loud dahil lss na lss ako haha, udd never makes a bad song nga naman kasi. now here i am again, listening to this song on repeat because i am stuck in the same situation. namanifest ko ata sa kaka-kanta ko nito dati haha. january 2021, my ex, whom i genuinely loved, left me. i was a mess, i felt shattered, and maybe i was afraid to be alone so i ran to the arms of another man. he was there for me ever since the beginning, bago pa maging kami ng ex ko. he consoled me, made sure i never sleep at night with a heavy heart, and showed me genuine care and affection. he did love me, always has been, i knew that. of course, me being stupid, i wasn't really still completely over with my ex, but it was so comforting to have someone who sincerely cherishes you. i didn't feel alone, and i made sure to make him feel the same way. i valued him. months later, my ex came back to me crying and begging me to give him another chance to fix things. he said he was gonna make it up to me, he was filled with regrets. at this point, i really thought i was finally over him, that i was happy with another person. i pondered about it for days, and i figured i still love him, i never stopped loving him. he was my person, it was difficult to let go of him completely. and so i gave him another chance. we're together again. i felt so fucking shitty for doing this but, i never told him (the other guy) that i got back with my ex (who is now my boyfriend again) and i just kept on being with him as well because i was so afraid to lose him too. but secrets always get revealed, he found out about it from another person. he was mad which was understandable. but he told me he won't say anything to my boyfriend so we can be happy. for the last time, he told me how much he loves me, and how he wished so bad that we would work out. "i cannot do anything now since you picked him over me once again," this was our last conversation, and those words still haunt me.

And you have the guts to tell the part of the story where you were "afraid to lose him too". Well, the moment you gave ex another chance, you already lost the one person who cared and loved you about you the whole time. We get that you were hurt and "afraid to lose him too", but you should've AT LEAST tell the guy the whole thing. Because he was there, the whole time he was there. Something really ticks us off here. You have the guts to use the other guy to heal your heart, you have the guts to get back to your ex and mend your relationshit. But you don't have the guts to tell the other guy what happened. It's not because you're afraid to lose him (in fact, you already lost him), it's probably because you will not have the safe space to go to once you experience the same pain all over again. Naging may something samin ng co-worker ko. Idk felt like our feelings were mutual. Ka-bond ko siya through ups and downs, hanging out alone in private then one time Inamin ko sakanya na gusto ko siya even so i have a one alone na ldr kami. Turns out ako lang pala and now, we're acting like we didn't know each other.
