I’m a new fan of this series that never watched a single trailer prior to the beta, but I still feel the chills when smell of the game was played for the very first time
Well, it certainly doesn't play bad, but I believe that it played MUCH better in the first Open Beta than in the second. The second one had a lot more issues that made it less enjoyable honestly.
Game’s shit compared to Xrd, that’s what it means. A watered down version of Guilty Gear with barely any gatlings, and a shit lobby system that still doesn’t even work reliably. Game’s awesome for 30 minutes until you get bored of doing the same 3 or 4 universal combo routes over and over again with every character, but hey, guess ArcSys’ welcoming the newbies. Got their new target demographic set, down to a t.
If you prefer how Xrd feels, that's fine. However, that doesn't mean Strive is a bad game. It's just different. Also no offense, but I don't understand the people that are comparing the game to Street Fighter. Strive is still a lot closer to a Guilty Gear game than a Street Fighter game, but it was never the other way around.
