I love the humility and gratitude of this Bashiru man; especially the way he acknowledged his elders and those late people who impacted his life. His resemblance and mannerism like PMB is startling. Late DR SAB must have looked down on him with pride, if that does truly happen.

He was mostly truthful in the interview. However, he created a sense that for the period of about 8 years that he spent in the band, he gained and left with virtually nothing. To me, he sounded like someone who was never appreciative. You don't speak ill of your humble beginning because you moved to someone else, who was paying you much better. The interview was generally nice. It tells us more of how forgiving and compassionate SAB was

It could be a bit difficult because he's been in the US since early 2000s. He left Barry on a friendly note after securing appointment in a US University. His exit from the band was ceremonious. Maybe they could interview him virtually. He's a drum don in the US school.

If Alhaji Ayansola Kamoru had lived much longer, this man would have abandoned the SAB band and joined Ayansola and Sawaba in 1986. He confessed that even when Ayansola left the band, he would always go to his house and divulge the secrets and the happenings of Fuji chamber to him. That is dangerous. If he had felt so passionate about Ayansola's predicament, why didn't he follow him?

The money can't be enough for the many band members we see on stage. They are expected to make use of the connection their popularity garnered and help themselves.
Also, as one of the band members said, some of them lived extravagant life's with 3 wives and concubines. So someone can't take you on several trips abroad, pay you weekly, give you party clothes always and still manage your resources for you.
