this is the most beautiful performance I have ever seen. The most beautiful music ive ever heard, and some of the most skilled, amazing artists to roam the earth
This show is an absolute masterpiece. I enjoyed their performance, the music [I play the piano and I practice bboying] I found this to be the greatest show ever!!!
God, I love how they kind of make each person represent an instrument, when there is a flute of w/e fast part you see one guy moving to that rythym and another moving to the piano rythym. Absolutely brilliant.
I really love expressions... For them, it's not just whooping out flashy moves, but it's also artistic vision and story telling, perfect choreography and choice of music.
I cried when I saw this vid. The way they dance, the music, everything. Amazing. I really love the songs they have used too. And to those who don't know which songs these are, it's all from the artist Yann Tiersen from his album "Amelie from Montmartre".
For everyone asking for the song list, its all from Yann Tiersen, found in the soundtrack for the movie "Amelie" Second, Expression Crew is from 1997, and Rainen from Jabba said in a TV interview that their biggest inspiration are Expression Crew
I come back to watch this video every so often because it is one of my favorite performances of all time, and I find it pathetic that people still bring up Jabbawockeez here.
Nah dude you got it all wrong, Expression Crew is the only Professional crew that dances for a living. They were one of the top bboy crews in Korea. Choreo is just one of their specialty but they also kick ass in bboy.
I love this show and I love this crew they are best on show It's so Amazing !!! on Amélie Poulain song wa !!! I love expréssion I wich they are come back on 2008 !!!
Just one more thing :) Song is called Yann Tiersen - "J'y Suis Jamais Alle" .. it's the song from French romantic comedy movie "Amelie"! :) There is also a great remix of that song, remiz by Smoku! :) Thumbs up if you want! :)
this was so tight man expressions crew can blow america out of the water lmfao that i can say for sure. and i love the way they use clasical music to do they dance tight man just sooo ill
My children told me about this excellent video! You know, this is one of the best artistic Hip Hop that I saw in all my life! Congratulations guy! You are the best! You have an incredible talent and a wonderful team work! Keep on! Alberto Conti (41) and ALIANZA DE TITANES CREW, from Argentina.
here's a trivia fact that i'm sure has been said, but needs to be said again. Jabbawockeez, in an interview, said that their inspiration to wear masks came from Expression crew's routine back in 2003. Jabbawockeez obviously respect this crew, so you should too. Doesn't matter who's better, they're both awesome
Alright everybody lets stop the argument about jabba and expression crew. They are both amazing and have their own unique styles so lets respect both crews. No need to compare them or ask whos the original and stuff.. just bcuz they both use masks. Lets just appreciate the fact that they are there and performing great performance to us.
p.s I really like this performance. I've seen a shorter clip of it that they performed on Star King in Korea. They edited so much out, it was great to see the full performance. I like how they used the music. It was really artistic and from what I've seen before, it a pretty original idea too.
Only people who understand Bboy pop n' lock will appreciate this performance. Those who say this is a boring performance fails to see the amazingness of every freeze in this video. Jabba is a great crew, but expression is at a much higher level of choreography in which Jabba is still striving to achieve. Face it, Jabba isn't up to par yet. Wait until they make it to B-Boy of the year.
from rainen "Its cool dat everybody talks about da expressions show but just 2 let yall know. We have been rocking shows lke dat since 2002, and expressions didnt start doing dat marinet show till end of 2004 going to 2005. We never watched their show until people started telling us dat dey were doing a similar show like ours. Grant it my boy kevin said dat we are like marinets, but dat is something dat he said 2 explain to da audience, and dat is how we felt since we started da crew in 2002"
Point taken, dlexarkun. I've seen Medea Sirkas and one of the 1st popping vids I saw when I first got into popping was Mr. Wiggles doing a marionette routine with a black guy. Marionetting could be it's own sub-genre in funkstyles. But Expression fused so many different things together in a package that makes sense and it was fresh and new. The scope of their gimmick was what set it apart from what Sirkas and Wiggles did. It just feels like Jabba is just a carbon copy of Expression's creation.
Expression didnt break up. They are just not participating in any sort of international or domestic breakdance battles. Now they are focusing on their professional performances by producing its own musicals or play something like that. I don't know much about expression, but that's what I have read from the newspaper recently.
OMG!!! Creo que me he enamorado de nuevo *_* Really, its one of the best breakdancing vids I have ever seen!!! Además, amo el soundtrack de Amelie... snif, snif Me encantó... Lo veré hasta que me canse ._.
Most of them are together, they only do shows now (Marionette is a 90min kinda broadway show in Korea). Hong10 and Ducky is in Drifterz, rest are spread in Gamblers, Rivers, Max and so forth.
또 보러 왔습니다. 여전히 제게 감동을 주는 무대네요!
Simply put, one of the best shows ever. Classy, original, unique, and breathtaking.
I been watching this video since it first came out, how does it still not have over a million views or more
right??? I was just thinking the exact same thing!
pocos conocen el buen arte de las mascaras expression es la madre de las mascaras jabbawockeez es replica
this is the most beautiful performance I have ever seen. The most beautiful music ive ever heard, and some of the most skilled, amazing artists to roam the earth

Absolutely beautiful performance.
Expression Crew really take the breakdancing into an art form.
Expression crew is epic
these guys are so original
and they brought Break dancing to a whole new level
respect
Always gives goose bump whenever i rewatch it. Don't think any modern masked dance performance/choreography will ever beat this one.
Seven years ago, this crew change the way bboying used to be.shout out to expression crew.seven years and still im watching this video.love you guys
The best show ever. I doubt anybody will make better.
This just made me cry.
Those are not dancers, they are artists .
It makes me mad that only 700,000 people have seen this performance.... This is the type of thing the whole world should see. Its beautiful
Let's spread out Expression Crew's video so the world can recognize them as the best crew ever..!!! LOL
Feels like watching living sculptures... and a sophisticated big dancing music box... at the same time.
Expression is LEGEND!Best Bboy Crew ever, so much creativity and physique. Expression for life
I love expressions shows and what i think is that expressions have the best shows of all the crew out there
Song is AWSOME... Whel the choreograft owns... just another great job from Expression Crew.. Keep at it guys!!!
man....got no words for it...almost made me cry, beautiful!
that's what expression should be, dancing with your soul!
respect
this is so beautiful
and thanks to the music theres a cirque du soleil feel to it
it looks so sad but so joy behind it
Its magical. I dont know how else to describe it. This really proves that dancing is a true art form.
It's the best show with musics and rhytms.
God, I love how they kind of make each person represent an instrument, when there is a flute of w/e fast part you see one guy moving to that rythym and another moving to the piano rythym. Absolutely brilliant.
i would probably say, out of the thousands of youtube videos that i have watched. this one is my favourite.
This crew has the dopest shows ever.... So creative!
Almost every other crew I've seen bites off Expression somehow.
It's only one word that could describe this performance : brilliant
it's because of things like this why Expression's my favourite crew..=)
I really love expressions... For them, it's not just whooping out flashy moves, but it's also artistic vision and story telling, perfect choreography and choice of music.

And to those who don't know which songs these are, it's all from the artist Yann Tiersen from his album "Amelie from Montmartre".
wow i never knew how good this crew was until now o.o
can't stop watching this! i love the music, i love the moves and i love the crew!
This is a true work of art! This is the apex of where modern jazz and the hip hop culture collide! Keep it up guys!
For everyone asking for the song list, its all from Yann Tiersen, found in the soundtrack for the movie "Amelie"
Second, Expression Crew is from 1997, and Rainen from Jabba said in a TV interview that their biggest inspiration are Expression Crew
Damn. This show was done even way before the jabbawockeez came out. Good stuff
noooooo jabbewockeez was like 1998 shit....
actually.. there was a dull moment.. the moment they finished.. my life went dull.. *cries..
I come back to watch this video every so often because it is one of my favorite performances of all time, and I find it pathetic that people still bring up Jabbawockeez here.
Hmm.. I am getting exciting of this history of them. From Medea to Expression and now Jabbawockeez.
They are totally and simply amazing.
simply the best showcase ever, korea on the top of the world since 02-03

Nah dude you got it all wrong, Expression Crew is the only Professional crew that dances for a living. They were one of the top bboy crews in Korea. Choreo is just one of their specialty but they also kick ass in bboy.

i just saw this show yesterday...
it was in a smaller theatre but
it was still the SHIT. It was
near 혜화역 (Hyehwa station).
They are REALLY good!
I CANT be the only person who thinks this is better than anything i've ever seen on ABDC.
this was so tight man expressions crew can blow america out of the water lmfao that i can say for sure. and i love the way they use clasical music to do they dance tight man just sooo ill
Music is from the french movie, "Amelie". Interesting movie. This dance is absolutely sick. Amazing fluidity with the music.

The Best Show..

Most of them are together, they only do shows now (Marionette is a 90min kinda broadway show in Korea). Hong10 and Ducky is in Drifterz, rest are spread in Gamblers, Rivers, Max and so forth.
