  • A fantastic evening spent at Bicester North on the Chiltern Mainline where we see plenty of services from Chiltern Railways.
This station was simply fantastic for a night time film, and then on top of that we catch 2 68's and a couple of 172's.
I do highly recommend this station to anyone that hasn't been here before, although I suspect turning up during daylight hours may prove slightly better to get your desired shot.
My next station will be Haddenham & Thame Parkway.
You can now find me on Facebook through the group Tornado922, there you will find regular updates, videos and photos from all of my goings on throughout 2017

What a really well shot and framed night time film all Chiltern stock but that close up of the 68, very atmospheric It will be better during the day as the livery will be true

Awesome video Jarred! Really enjoyed watching. Love Bicester North. Great station and town and the views from the footbridge in the daytime are amazing, as you can see for miles around and can get great views of the trains in the distance on both sides. Also love seeing the fast services zooming through and especially the 68s sounding and looking amazing. Well done ☺

Night-time is the right time for the ol'habit, and on an overpass as well. Thanks for that! That Titian lives up to its namesake. What a beast, man! Start with speed, end with speed. Great dose, thanks again. B.P.

Was on the Chiltern ML myself today, went to Wembley Stadium (a brilliant station!) and was also meant to do Northolt Park, but that broken down train you mentioned meant services were screwed for me, as it happened just before my train came in. Annoyingly, there are stations only served by the once an hour Gerrards Cross services and Northolt Park is one of them!

Trust me, Haddenham Parkway is a very badly lit station so go in the day. Great video by the way. I was kinda looking forward to the 2nd silver set though. By the way, there used to be a bay platform at Bicester but they removed it quite recently. I'm not entirely sure why though.

Hopefully, you will spend a bit of time in Beaconsfield. I lived outside Beaconsfield in the late 1970s as an American ex-pat and use the station on a regular basis. There is not much traffic other than CML trains passing through but I would like to see what the station looks like now.
