yeah they did frenchie dirty this season, him turning himself in was a highpoint until the very next episode where he just gets convinced to come out off screen and it's like none of it ever happened - pointless
Was a good season. The only thing that stood out when I was watching was how Sage shows up after all kinds of random stuff happens and simply says she planned it. She also got her brains blown out and failed to recruit the oligarchs. Was that part of her plan? I thought she turned out to be a very weak character because we just have to trust that she's smart without actually seeing how. Maybe she'll be more meaningful next season.
Idk it felt kind of meandering and pointless, like almost every character is in the same place they were at the end of season 3. You could almost skip season 4 and not miss much. This is the first season where I felt like it was just all about shock value with very little actually paid off at the end
@@rhysjeffery3401 really? I feel like my opinion on this season is pretty common, maybe even kind compared to most. It didn’t suck but it didn’t push the plot forward for most characters, instead they just kinda treaded water as naked shit blew up around them
@@nickgates4259 That is not an opinion they are not in the same situation as they were at the start of the season. Literally or characters wise. However you feel about the quality of the season they are unequivocally progressing the story.
I would say it's probably the worst of the 4 seasons, but overall it's still very good. Felt like a lot of sub plots, I feel like Hughie's dad and the shapeshifter should have been in separate seasons. I also really liked Frenchie and Kimiko's moment together but the Collin stuff did feel slightly unnecessary.
The season wasnt bad imo, but by far the weakest one. Most characther arc's just felt meh and not needed, the seven were generally way more interesting than the boys. I didnt find myself being all that interested in the boys this season. I personally havent really minded the politics in the past 3 seasons, this time it's just too much and not written well enough to be justified imo. The story overall just was too all over the place and didnt really progress characther or story wise imo. I think it could've been cut into 4 episodes or made a huge last season instead. Still a solid season though, i'd give it a soild 6/10, almost a 7/10 purely because of the finale
The show has fallen off so hard, the characters are less and less interesting. They keep showing edgy stuff that adds nothing to the plot. Having to sit through an episode of someone getting killed and raped to get to the good part is unbearable.

Homelander is the president of the country but this is season is pointless according to you...
@@jonah5548 if you didn’t see it going that way by the end of season 3 you weren’t paying attention
@@nickgates4259You are quite simply incorrect.

1:45 - 1:57 Neuman is the reason ryan ended up with Homelander
Stan Edgar will take compound v. Sorry for spoiler
That could be an interesting situation, at least to have the character do something next season.
There are leaks?

@@JKBDTS Dead real. This season was trash and no amount of word juggling will save it. Keep coping.
