In a recent interview with VladTV, Tray Deee discussed his journey to embracing Islam while incarcerated and dispelled a common myth about inmates converting for protection. Tray Deee clarified that while some prisoners might seek refuge in religion, it’s not a widespread practice. He emphasized the importance of sincerity and addressing one’s past before fully committing to any faith. Tray Deee shared his personal experience of attending Nation of Islam events and ultimately taking his Shahada in the spring of 2005 during his sentence. Despite being on lockdown in Salinas Valley Prison in 2004, he actively sought to become a Muslim and participated in Ramadan, even without a formal initiation. For the past 20 years, Tray Deee has maintained his commitment to Islam, continuing to pray five times a day and actively engaging with his religious community. For anybody watching this who’s interested in Islam. You don’t have to wait for anyone to give you Shahada. You can say it yourself. It’s the testimony of faith that you recite to become Muslim.

I used to be interested in the 90's. I've since moved on. Once I listened to Dr Frederick KC Price's sermon(s) titled Race, Religion and Racism, I started getting back into Christianity. Like most black folks(youngins) I thought of Christianity as the "white man's" religion because of the white images portrayed around the world. Once I listened to his sermon/teaching, I realized white folks have hijacked Christianity like they do everything else. We all now know that Jesus was NOT white, but black, and with that, I looked at Christianity differently. It is us black folks who have been tricked by the devil, who allowed his children to manipulate the book to give an appearance of domination, when actually they are the least and God will NOT allow them into the kingdom.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

It’s a respect thing, Muslims in prison tend to follow the tenets of Islam whereas Christians continue with their ways and ask for forgiveness on Sunday. Islam in prison is damn near a gang itself…I call it Prislam.

The ones that don’t do that are due to civil rights violations being it’s considered a religion and is protected by federal law. I was a coordinator down here in Texas under Imam Shakir. No one pretends to do anything, but you don’t erase who were overnight either. Your behavior earned your way into prison, so your behavior can earn your way out. It’s easy to become something, hard to live up to it. Point out the bias…

How does this Hadith make sense?
It has to do with pure and unpure (najiss) not for drinking purposes, it is compliquated to explain in the coment section , above a certain quantity water remains pure , like the ocean , all the sewers of the planet pour into it since centuries but his water remains pure . Same for a river ,
above a certain quantitie water remains pure and can be used for wudu ( ritual purification)
Same for the hadith you're talking about semen is najiss (unpure) and it invalids the prayer so by removing it with water
It is enough to purifie it..those are rules of fiqh
