Welcome back on trail Chaunce. Great to see you out in the wild again. One thing I always liked about your videos is that you keep the audio part authentic: No music, listening to your footsteps on the ground, your heavy breathing up the mountains. Please keep those videos coming. Stay safe and healthy! Greetings from Lower Saxony / Germany.
Glad you're back. I missed your huffing and puffing as you stumble down the trail talking.
It is so crazy to see how different it looks without all the snow, but also how much it looks the same. Can't wait to see more!
Yeah! Happy to have you back!
Glad you're back!
Beautiful!!!!! Can’t wait for the next video
Sooooo good to see you back on the trail!
Good to see you back on the trail, Juliana. Another great video. Thanks!
Loving that you’re back on trail.
I hear your heavy breathing early on in the film and it reminds me of 2019 when we did the JMT.
The altitude had me breathing hard the full three weeks.
Good to see you back on trail...safe hiking !!!
I have watched a lot of thru hikes on CZcams. So it is nice to see the landscape without snow.😎
Great to see you back on trail! Beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing.
Stunning views, thanks for sharing. Great to see you lit up with joy being back on trail. Terry.
You guys are animals. Amazing
Dreat video, Thanks and welcome back
Great to see this! I just did this same section SOBO from July 15-21. You captured it beautifully! You did it quicker than I did I think, more power to you
This is such an awesome video for me to watch not just because it's Chaunce but because she's hiking TOWARDS where I left off at mile 906. So this is like a sneak preview of what the PCT has in store for me next!
Happy hikes! Tic Tac, Wales, UK 🏴🇬🇧 (Author of an Acrostic Poem that was "the Most Difficult Thing You Have Read In Your Life Ever")
Oh yes, I remember following you two years ago. Good for you getting back on trail. I have been section hiking high Sierras over two years and 25 days ago fell, cracking a couple of ribs. At 77 years of age, it’s slowed me down a bit. I’ll be hiking vicariously with you. Thank you for sharing your hike. 😎⛰
Hey, nice to see you back on trail. Glad you're able to get out there and finish your PCT hike. Hike On!
Beautiful lakes!!
Great to see you out hiking.
The trail looks good 👍
I started my JMT nobo from hirseshoe meadows 1 year ago today. Of course hiked same trail. Enjoy 😉
Awesome!
I don't know when you recorded this (PCT-CA-i) stretch Chaunce, but it seems you were lucky; we walked it NOBO from Aug. 27 to Sep. 2 of this year, and met with quite a bit of smoke and ashes. For all of you who haven't done this section yet, I would recommend looping in The Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne. It's just a few extra miles extra (out and back) and is really gorgeous! Keep up the good work Chaunce! I also enjoy the Backpacker Padio podcasts that you're co-hosting!
Hello Juliana, greetings from Northern California. It is very good to see you again. Welcome back to California. Thank you for sharing another beautifully filmed video. You always do a great job of filming and narrating. Don't forget to use your sunscreen. All the best to you Dear. Please stay safe and healthy. 🤗
Thanks for the vid!
Thanks for sharing
Good job!!
Congrats on making it back to the PCT. that’s quite an achievement this year. The year that wasn’t. 🥵
So did you ever finish your PCT hike??? Oh!!!
Some great huffing and puffing. Now just need a good spooked look off the trail.
Thanks for the video!
I'm pretty sure we passed in the Lyell Canyon a couple weeks ago. We were northbound. Cool to (possibly) see a CZcamsr I watch on the trail.
You're hiking past a lot of swimming holes!
Congratulations
The water fall looks so inviting.
How many days was that and miles??
Welcome back to the trail. Enjoy 😉
Great video. Am planning on heading south on PCT from Sonora Pass in a couple weeks, but then continuing southbound around Kennedy Canyon [into Emigrant Wilderness, towards Emigrant Lakes]. Do you think I'll find adequate water sources this year along the leg from Hwy. 108 to Kennedy Canyon?
I was so relieved to see you took your shoes off lol
the best line of the video ....." sorry mom"
Getting too much sun, you need a long sleeve sun shirt and a hat. Have fun out there and be safe.
Hey, bear cubs usually mean Moms around.
You want to get out of there prontisimo.
(3:00.)
Just a heads up.
Chaunce...how did you get dropped off at Sonora Pass for this trip? I've been trying to figure out how to get there without my car.
Beyond jealous!
Just a bit concerned about the shallow breathing. Hope you are ok. Nice video.
Sun burn looking painful.
Sorry Mom lmao
