Common eider (Somateria mollissima)

I went with Jana and Víťa from @SpolekDobris to look for common eider on the last day of January. The weather was miserable. There was a fog over Lake Milada in the morning, so we set off around the lake with that feeling of "well, since we're here..." We found her about a third of the way around the lake, when we were having a little snack. Jana monitored the surface even while she was having refreshments, and so within a few minutes after seeing the long-tailed duck, she informed us that a few meters away there was also the common eider. Unbelievable luck and insight 🙂 Not even the miserable weather spoiled our joy 🙂 And that wasn't all. But more in the article on the website and channel @SpolekDobris.
