I watched a three part documentary on this, and chief Rizzo is brilliant! The mayor tried to get her fired during the investigation but the community protested and she was able to solve this case, and stop a really dangerous woman. The Cochranes neighbours may have been fed hamburger meat made from the victim at a BBQ.
Makes you wonder if the mayor had an affair with the black widow as well, !

That Basement looks like an old basement I lived in in Dekalb IL. There was this guy who went missing like I think around 2007 when I was in the Marines and I moved out there in 2012. There was a spot in the basement that was literally like a part of the concrete that was a mound, like it warped UP and when you would STOMP on it, you could hear it was HOLLOW underneath. Shit still freaks me out. Part of me always wanted to see what was in there.. but also I didn't want more PTSD.
