What's the brand name of the poles? They look light weight

I'm pretty sure those were Outdoor Products Apex walking poles (Walmart)

The German Military has a funny tarp / poncho combination, which I like and use a lot. But I think it's way bulkier and heavier. How much rain can that thing take?

I set it up Saturday early morning, hoping for rain. Only a light drizzle on Sunday morning. Overall it seemed very robust and I've become a big fan of shock cording shelter items, as the cord (instead of the material) would absorb the brunt of nature.

I’d assume pretty good. I’ve constructed poncho rafts with these and they are very waterproof, unless there are holes in it obviously.
