Could you advise about dagger/sword brush? Also, I use brushes for watercolour lettering. I've heard the Princeton Snap! set of 4 is good because it has a good spring back, which is necessary for lettering.
Sorry I don’t know much about lettering. Sword brush is good for leaf like effects, eventually would be a good addition to your set 😊

You can use if you are just starting. But better would be to save money and get one good round brush. If you can, get art essentials kazan round brush.

Won’t recommend. You can for for brustro mop brushes or one ‘art essentials’ round 8 brush to start with.
This is very helpful, the silver brushes are quite costly for me as i am a beginner, so was exploring Princeton brushes, can you tell me if Princeton heritage brushes (synthetic sable) are better than Princeton Neptune (synthetic squirrel hair)?
Neptune is better in my opinion. You could get that. But best according to me is silver. Try saving up and getting that eventually. A round no. 6 would do, to begin with 🙂

Neptune brushes totally replicates squirrel hair and is really soft-At first I didnt understand that neptune was a syhthetic replica to real squirrel hair brush!nepyune is too soft for beginnwr to handle.heritage has both snap and water holding capacity- thought it was made to replicate weasel( both snap and water holding) it didnt replicate much! I suggest buying aqua elite long roung brush size 8-(its snappy, holds ton of water, has a brilliant point and can give various stroke)

Hi please check the flat brushes link given in the description. They are a bit costly but they are a very good investment and are one of my favourites in my collection! 😀

@@yashcommonman you asked for flat brushes. I use round brushes from silver. It’s not necessary to use of one brand only. You can buy different brushes from different brands

Are Faber Castell round brushes pack good for beginners?
Won’t recommend those. Doesn’t hold water well. Better would be art essentials or brustro mop set.

Hi! Are their brushes available other than natural brushes which perform good? I don't know if these are cruelty free that is why I'm hesitant to buy natural brushes. By the way, very informative and educational video , been learning alot from your channel .. eager for upcoming videos:))
The brushes I mentioned are synthentic sable, they are essentially synthetic brushes but as good as natural hair brushes. The best right now is silver series, black velvet. I use the same. Hope this helps 🙂

Getting the Chinese brush is not necessary. You can buy the rest of the brushes. Start with good quality round brushes as you'll use them them the most. Pls watch the next lesson for full list.

Hi, you could get the brustro mop set, or look look for round brushes by art essentials. Consider buying one first, try it and see for yourself if you like it personally.

@@sonalisaha650 Do you have good round brushes? To be honest I don't use my fan brush much. I use it more in acrylics and oils. If you see my videos I hardly used it. But if you want to buy then yes you can go ahead and buy either one.

Yes they are good too. I don't own any but have heard good reviews. Order one first to get an idea about sizing.
