shout out to you for actually trying this because i could never. come do mine next 🤣
Girl you don't want this style. The tangles 😂. Its real cute though 🥴
You deserve whatever award influencers should get for doing this and giving your honest opinion. I kept looking at SM and thinking not me. You confirmed why. Hair looks beautiful before and after wetline
Awww thanks Monica ☺️ Just wanted let you all know the real deal lol. We work too hard to take care of our hair to do a style that can mess up all that hard work. Thanks for watching ❤️
not me actually jamming out like you told us. i likes this lil song 🤣
Me too! I was like ok, I like the vibes! Thanks for watching Alexis ❤️
Yes ma’am this style is so cute thank you for representing type 4 natural hair ❤️
Thank you so much for watching love 😘
Yes omg! I saw so many people doing this yet very few of them were type 4 and it was annoying because I wanted to see what it might look like in MY hair 🙄
It came out cute. I did this style 2 weeks ago and taking them down wasn’t as bad as I thought (I’m not a WNG person). I used warm water and slippery conditioner too take it down and it went very smooth and fast.
Thank you so much love 😘. Ok, that makes me feel better about having to take them down this weekend lol. Thanks for watching 💕
@@NJEberhart your welcome, let us know how it goes when you take them down.
You did a great job on this style, it came out really cute! I don't like the idea of having strands of hair out I have to "style." It defeats the purpose of a protective style, as you said.
Thank you Olivia 😘. The strands were cute in theory and then when I started to do the style, I was like "yeah, these little pieces are going to be tangled!" lol.
Soo beautiful!!!🥰
Thank you so much Maia 😘
Thank you for this video NJ🥰💙.. it came out cute! I’ve seen tutorials on this style and honey I think it’s really cute but I don’t have the patience 🤣
Thank you so much 😘 Yes it def takes a lot of patience lol
Your hair came out cute! I currently have this style in & I like it & I might try it again. I used a cream to do my braids and that was not a good idea 😬. I used ecostyler for the “boho” pieces and they held for a few days. I only refreshed them for the weekend. If the take down isn’t brutal I plan to do them again with a mousse.
Hey Keyanna 😘 I still have these things in my head almost 2 weeks later. I am not mentally prepared for this take down lol. Thanks for watching 💕
Very cute style! You really came through and OUT for us type 4 naturals! I probably won't be trying this trend out on my fine natural hair but its nice to see others like yourself try it out :)
Thank you so much love 🤗. I try to represent for the type 4 girlies 💕
@@NJEberhart yes Queen! You’re killing it!! 😍🙌🏾
It looks good.
Thank you Diane 😘
Super cute
Thank you so much love 💜
Hey Nisha your hair looks adorable! Thanks for trying this style out and I understand why you won't be doing it again. It looks like a nightmare to take down! My hair is too thin to try this style but I may experiment with mini twists. I just tried doing a twaidout and find it gives my thin hair better results than a regular twistout.. Will have to pull out my Wetline and try it again. 😊
Thank you so much love 😘 mini twists will be so cute and will actually be a protective style lol.
Same.. My hair is thin do this is definitely a no on my hair.
💖looks beautiful on you 💖
Thank you so much Valencia 😘
Slather your hair with coconut oil like a prepoo sleep with in take down next morning. It will avoid the tangles.
Thanks for the tip! I was actually able to take down my hair and didn't have as many tangles as i thought when using a prepoo. Thanks for watching 💕
I have it, currently, in my hair. I'm planning on taking it down this weekend (had it in over a week) and while it's great... I'm just ready to wash my hair.
I didn't bother adding gel to the exposed pieces after I did it the first time. When they went frizzy I left them. Others are still curly like the first time I did it but.... Yeah no. I wanna wash my hair so it GOTTA GO!
Your hair looks great though. I did a side part
Girl I feel you! My scalp was sooo itchy by the end of the week. My hair was a big frizz ball at the end of the week also lol. Thanks for watching 💜
These are cute on you. How did you mange to do the back with leaving the hair out? Omg, there is no way I would have been able to do that. Love wet line.
Thanks Michelle 😘 So for the most part, my hair in the back was long enough to reach my mouth 😂. Otherwise I would have to leave the little piece off to the side and hope it doesn't get mixed up in the braid.
Looks amazing. I am too lazy for that. 🤷🏾♀️
Thank you Dawn 😘. Not going to lie. It does take a lot of time and patience. About 5 hours for me.
I love them! I did them on my natural hair, but my hair is thin!!! Not to mention my shrinkage left my chin length front - ear length and my strap length back to the nape of my neck😫 I really love seeing this style on thicker hair. Alikay Naturals Knot be Gone and Jamaican Mango & Lime black castor oil did loosen my curls the next day and gave it a little stretch. Cute style!
Hey love 💕 Yes this style def brings outs the shrinkage lol. Glad you tried it out, super cute! Thanks for watching ☺️
My hair is thin/fine as well! We need more styles for us!
You did good!! Hazel goddess was the first video I saw on this and instead of putting them in her mouth she just shingled the part that was going to stay out then kept braiding if I ever attempt this style strong if lol I would have to do it that way I can’t taste hair it will gross me out lol
Thank you so much Tashay 😘. I totally missed her video so I will def need to see how the style worked for her. I def was tasting all those hair products in my mouth😜
i feel like you'd give it one more chance, when you're not so much in a rush. LMAOOO
EYE would not try boho only because my hair be bo-hoing anyway without the extra effort. 🤣
but it looks good on you, sis!
Lol these tangles are something serious so it is def a no for me. I will just keep doing my mini braids 😂. Thanks for watching 💕
These look cute and all, but have been a fat NO. My hair is already a fighter, we don’t need to give it a reason to fight me😭😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Yeah, she may not want to cooperate for this style lol. My hair was not cooperating, the frizz! lol thanks so much for watching 😘
Viv Hair Therapy ended up using a small clip to hold the loose hair instead of using her mouth.
Oh wow, well she is the only one that hasn't 😂😂. Her idea was probably a better idea 😂
The takedown will be a nightmare 🥺. Looks great on you 🤗
Girl, I am not ready for it either 😫. Thank you so much for watching beautiful 💕
I think it turned out cute but understandable why you wouldn't do it again. The time factor alone takes this off of my 'To-try' list 😂
Thank you so much love 💕. Yeah girl, it is def time consuming lol.
It looks cute, but I'm not sure how protective the style is when we're leaving strands out.
My thoughts exactly Tamara! I don't consider this a protective style. It is cute though 😂 Thanks for watching 😘
I wanna try this but just the the thought of the take down has me nervous 😫
Girl, I am still in the style almost 2 weeks later because I haven't had the time nor energy to take this down 🥴😫. Thanks for watching 💕
Maybe leave out less pieces. A good conditioner, oil and water will make it an easy takedown.
Thanks, the take down was not as bad as I thought.
It looks like your hair would end up tangled. Can you let me know please?
Hey love 💕 I mentioned in the video that the style causes tangles lol. So beware when trying it out!
I wonder why you don't get the elongation with this style?? 🤔🤔
Hey Jeannine. 💕 For the wash n go pieces, those are automatically going to shrink up. And I also did this on wet hair and coiled the ends.
My parting skills are 🗑
Girl parting for me takes forever! Def the hardest part of the style lol
Everyone that does this style says they wouldn't do it again, damaging to hair.
Hey love, yeah the style isn't something to do often. My hair was tangled but nothing too crazy. Thanks for watching 💕
