Thanks for the Priceless Memories, Bob. We love you.
Thanks for giving away the outcome...............
The Lovely Jean Proved To Be A Great Shopper & Won A Fantastic Prize !! 😀
Press Your Luck preceded Price until Jan 3, 1986 when that show moved to the afternoons. Flokati rugs from Janis Imports were a notably frequent prize as all but a few contestants won it without stopping on a whammy first so it became one of Peter’s running gags
The Flokati Rug is to PYL while Larry Zeno in the Male Dating Pool is to Singled Out.
Sometimes the cash register on "Grocery Game" has a mind of its own.
Nice to see the price of ramen hasn't changed in 35+ years
😆
and they say things are worse...hahaha
The Press Your Luck crossover was unexpected.
Holy heck, the models are SMOKIN' in those biker outfits.
Reminds me of PInky and Leather Tuscadero on 'Happy Days'.
Jean will be 🏍 🛵 around town !!

The Detroit Tigers 🐯 defeated The San Deigo Padres that fall in the world series ⚾️ 🧢
@@davidellis5141 That's spelled San Diego (but not Deigo) Padres.
@@jamesmcclelland1414 Sorry ! A typo - Thanks for pointing 👉 it out 👍

We're playing Grocery Game today
Great job Jean! I won this game in 2000, buying all 5 items
Also you must remember how much each Item is.
How much in the range from $20-$21?
That was a great win!
And Jean claps her hands while Jean has her Clapping Hands & her Nametag as her winning her Prizes together Teammates!
0:28 Next item for bids, a "Press Your Luck" reference...
Pluto hasn’t leased the rights to season 13 yet… I wish they’d get 13 and 14 in the rotation.
I want to see all episodes from the entire decade of the 80s
The game was between $21 to $22.
Back in 72,it’s $6.75 to $7.
A year later, in November 1985, Grocery Game started using its current silver/red set.
1989-2016, it was $20- $21.
It's currently $20-$22
1984... The first year "Press Your Luck" was on CBS, and the Flokati rug became a bit of a running gag there.
Jean was adorable.
Airdate October 4, 1984.
omg a Flokati rug!
Congrats Jean...Love to have one of those scooters. My late parents had two Cimatti Italian built mopeds back in the mid 1970's..
They were ok but slowed down going up hill..
It would have been funny if Peter Tomarken came out on stage with the rug to plug Press Your Luck. I think the only non-Goodson game show that got plugged on Price is Right is Bob Goen's Wheel of Fortune, which likely happened due to "Wheelmania" making the syndicated show the biggest show in the country at that time and CBS hoping to take advantage of that.
"The Romney Pride" (must be Mitt's biggest fan)
Bob didn't make any mention of the models on the motorbikes?
That’s what I miss the announcers back then describing the grocery item it makes you want to buy the product but now George Gray just describe it without saying the catchphrase of the product or saying the name of the product and I know that’s not his fault he’s an announcer but I say they should bring it back to describing the products again and saying the products name
He doesn't say long descriptions because those products did not pay a fee to be advertised on TPIR. Many times, Drew has admitted that a stagehand just drives over to the nearby grocery store and picks out items. It's more work to go solicit that they advertise on the show. That's why, even if the contestant calls the product by the brand name, Drew will not if the product did not pay the fee for product placement.
You know, I'm a bit surprised that they are still using the old school cash register on Drew's TPIR.You'd think that a push button register would be used.
Dian Parkinson Queen Of Curves Model Alongside Leeann Tweeden Abigail Ratchford Nina Agdal And Kate Upton By The Way Nikki Schieler Ziering And Rachel Reynolds Iconic Barker Beauties ☺💋💞😍🤩
What a Doll.
A flokati rug as the IUFB? This is The Price Is Right, not Press Your Luck!
the price is right
Ramen is still cheap considering how long ago this was.
Xp
Bid 850 for a rug...its so obvious she doesnt want that rug...purposely overbid
I could see the disappointment in the look on her face cause she was hoping for a new car and instead she got the scooters that can only be rode 3 good months out of the year by herself lol 😂
