00:00 - 02:38 Electrical Power: The rate at which electrical energy is created (By Source) or consumed (By Load) is known as Electrical Power. Unit of Power is Watt or Joule/sec.
02:41 - 09:58 What is Source??: Source converts some form of energy into electrical energy. For example - Solar Cells change solar energy into electrical energy. ABJ Sir explains Source using a diagram and derives Power formulae as a multiplication of current and voltage. So P=VI. In the source, the Current enters at low and exists at high potential.

For example - A heater converts electrical energy into heat, and a fan converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. ABJ sir explains Load using a diagram and derives Power formulae as a multiplication of current and voltage, So P=VI. In the load, the Current enters at a higher potential and exists at a lower potential.
20:05 - 25:18 Electrical Power in Resistor: Any circuit resistor with a voltage drop across it dissipates electrical power. This electrical power is converted into heat energy or light. Formulae of power dissipated in different forms is derived by ABJ Sir.
P = VI = (V^2)/R = (I^2) R
25:22 - 27:55 Heat Dissipated by Resistor: As a charge q moves through a resistor, it loses a potential energy qV, where V is the potential drop across the resistor. This energy goes into heat, much like the way a ball of putty that falls off a cliff converts its potential energy to heat when it hits the ground. We refer to this conversion of potential energy into heat as dissipation. Formulae of heat dissipation by the resistor is derived by ABJ Sir.
So H = (I^2)Rt ; here I - Current, R - Resistance & t - Time.
27:56 - 30:34 Power Consumption Unit kWh: The unit of power consumption is kWh (Kilowatt-hour). 1 kWh = 36 x 10^6 Joules.
31:30 - 35:17 Important points about Battery: Battery used to provide constant Potential difference in a conducting wire. It convert chemical energy into potential energy. It was just a basic introduction about battery. We will study about battery in next lecture in detail.

Nvm got it , the reason is because the current flow from higher to lower potential is only valid across a resistance but this was a source

Sir, should I watch lectures by sir Walter Lewin after finishing a chapter, as he had finished chapters in one or two lectures.
