My jaw literally dropped when you sat down with that gorgeous dress on 😍 it looks stunning
So refreshing to see you be transparent about your procedures and explaining what it all entails. Loved this video!
Whatever makes you feel good, Lydia. I think you’re beautiful, inside and out. Lots of love❤️❤️
Honestly no judgement on whether people choose to get Botox or not I think it’s completely up to the person. However comparing Botox and skincare is ridiculous. It is absolutely not the same thing. Botox is not something that helps protect the skin which is our biggest organ. It is to stop wrinkles which are associated with ageing. Like I said if that’s something you want to do to your own body you’re totally entitled to do that but just do it don’t try and justify it under the guise of looking after your skin. Also this idea of needing to be wrinkle free in order to look fresh feeds into the idea that ageing is undesirable when it is just a fact of life. Like I said, do what you want to do and I really applaud you for encouraging people to get these procedures done by someone who really knows what they’re doing but don’t try and dress it up as something else.
You are so right. Just ve edited to say that skin care has not nothing to do with botox etc
Completely agree. You can look “fresh” and have wrinkles.
Well said.
I get Botox to improve my skin (ie less wrinkles’ why argue about semantics …
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Just something to consider. My son gets Botox for a different reason. He has cerebral palsy and he gets Botox in his legs go relax muscles. Something you need to watch though is it can cause scar tissue. Scar tissue can’t be fixed. It might be something to question them about and make sure they aren’t injecting the same area to many times. Absolutely cheer on getting Botox for staying fresh but just wanted to give you a little of what I’ve learned.
Oh, he actually explained it to you thoroughly. Glad to hear that.
Another potential risk is ptosis - eyebrow or eyelid can become paralysed and droop horribly, until it wears off after several months. It can happen with any injector, but less with experienced injectors. It can happen when needle goes too deep around eyebrows, or when face is rubbed or slept on.
The jaw Botox can also have an unwanted side effect of paralysing muscles that help you smile - so can mess up your smile. I believe there is a danger zone, where risk is increased, same with eyebrows. Dr Tim Pierce - a UK Doctor (on youtube) is also good at talking about potential risks.

I love what you say about being in tune with yourself, my mum was an acupuncturist and she said it is so important to listen to your body and what it is telling you. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make such a huge difference ❤️
You are such a knockout in those black trousers and white vest top for your night out. Reminds me of your old style pre- floral dresses. You should rock that look more often!
Thank you for educating me on the procedures Lydia. Your dress at the beginning of the vlog is devine. I follow you and Ali in Instagram as well as both CZcams channels. xo 🤍🌱🪴👸🏻
No criticism or judgement as everyone is entitled to their opinion but I personally can easily see why someone may use sophisticated skincare and choose not to use botox. The side effects and considerations are very different so people may have good reasons why they don't use both x
I am so happy to hear that your headaches are improving!! Pain is so debilitating, particularly when you experience it on a daily basis!
Lydia I love how positive and optimistic you are, it really brightens my day 🤗🌈
Caring for your skin with skincare is in no way the same as having Botox. You can do whatever you want but ageing as well as possible naturally and caring for your skin with creams etc is no where near the same as having medical treatments like Botox or fillers etc.
Nope. You care for the skin but it can only go so deep, Botox relaxes the muscles and filler does exactly what it says on the tin. Two very different things. You can never replicate what filler and Botox do with skincare. I don’t think there is anything wrong with getting Botox if you want to, I just don’t think it should be categorised with skincare.
@@MinJi_Scarlett sorry hun but your wrong: bc botox is now "normal " & not too more then little less invasive as churgery its still a cosmetic prosesure. I saw an docu with plastic churgens, scientists,... about this. And ageing gracefull can be done to if you use botox , like this doctor said " do it little & let therz be time enough between sessions so the mussls can move & train themselfs again "
The mirrors in your room look great without the stencil things🙃, seeing your outfit with the reflection less busy is perfect. I would spend so much time in your dressing room . The colour your chandelier…. It’s a dream . I often wonder how different it would have been without covid.
Or Anne with an E , I have been a watcher of your channel long enough to see both you and Ali grow plus Carrie and the future looks bright. I just wanted really to say thanks for being you x
I totally agree, having them removed from the mirrors has really opened up the room. 😍
Thank you so much for talking about your procedures in this video! I had no idea it could fix a lazy eye - I have one too and it's not extreme and I had NO IDEA I could get it fixed. I'm learning so much about tiny improvements that I can make with myself and the space around me by watching your videos. I agree about always looking your best no matter what - that's why I'm interested in small improvements. I know I'm close to 40, but I want to be the best looking close to 40 year old that I can be!
Thank you so much. ♥
A fun fact for you - Botox as it is now known was invented by an Opthalmologist to treat Strabismus in the late 1970’s. It is injected into the eye muscles, I have had this treatmentfor double vision but unfortunately it only worked for me for a couple of weeks.
I love & respect your truth over the years, your transparency great Lydia 🙏🏻❤️🇬🇧xxxx
It's also interesting to view these type of these procedures in context of your lifestyle....If most of your friends are getting botox, plastic surgery, etc then you will want to as well. if that is part of the norm. Like I wonder if Lydia was a successful software engineer in Austin, Texas...no crazy instagram or youtube following...still made plenty of money but just wasn't a public figure..would she even think about stuff like botox...because presumably she'd have friends/family who would be less worried about that stuff as well. I just say that to say, I think it's important to take a step back and assess if your desires are truly yours or a product of your environment. I'm an African American woman and the BBL (Brazilan butt lift) is quite a popular procedure in my culture. I think the majority of those who want a BBL live a certain lifestyle and are surrounded by others who really praise that body shape. However, for me, I don't live that lifestyle and thus have never even thought to do something like that. Again, i just think it's really intriguing how much your interests/desires can change based who you are around.
@@MinJi_Scarlett Oh wow! I did not know that. That is actually very fascinating!
Awww, your video made me miss England and Dr. Ayad so much!!! Your recommendation on nonsurgical rhinoplasty in one of your previous video's was how I found out about this type of procedure and so I went to Dr. Ayad to have it done this past July (4th of July on my brithday) and it was the best thing I could have done! I love Dr. Ayad and wish he traveled to the US for procedures!!! Also, I have been having botox done for about 10 years now and I can tell you it has been amazing at keeping static lines away. Those are the lines that dont go away even if you are not making expressions. Once those static lines are there you cant get rid of them, even with botox. I used to work at a medspa and always told my clients to start botox before those lines form to prevent them from etching in your skin. Good for you for getting on top of it and looking like the best version of yourself. I applaud you and support you Lydia. x
Isn’t he so wonderful ☺️
I love it that you have shown your treatments good on you! Just letting you know my sister in law does Botox, she’s a clinical nurse and on me she uses individual syringes per section I only have 20 units inside information (the needles get blunt each time they go in therefore much more comfy having a needle per section). Also shouldn’t really drink prior or after treatment because of bruising. It’s working so well on you as you look stunning 🤩
Hi Lydia! Thanks for being honest with us, so that it’s clear if we want similar results to yours what options we would need to consider. Personally, I’m here for the gardening/greenhouse/animal/Carrie shenanigans so I could give a crap what you put in or on your skin 😂 as long as you are happy (and not like harming people, etc), don’t ever let others insecurities bring you down ✌🏼
Lydia, this video was very informative and I love how transparent you were as well as trying to provide us with the correct information regarding Botox. Much appreciated xx
Your dress reminds me of Heather Flounce Zimmermann's print! beautiful!
I have TMJ... made worse by a broken jaw in an auto accident. I know the pain... the headaches, the facial pain. Good for you in finding a solution to that! Chronic pain is so very beyond difficult to manage and when it's in your head, it's like pushing a rock uphill, 24/7... Congratulations in finding a possible solution...!! ;-)
LITERALLY 5 seconds in and I stopped to write this…. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING🙌🏻 THAT DRESS AND YOU are like PB & Jelly = Perfection 👏🏻👏🏻🤍
We don’t make decisions in a vacuum. The more people get Botox, the more women are expected to get Botox and an invasive medical procedure becomes normalized for our children…a “normal” woman’s face starts getting deemed not “fresh”. It’s not judgmental to say that how we behave (and particularly people in the public eye) impacts others. Appearance is becoming people’s whole identity and focus in life - it’s incredibly sad. We treat ourselves like objects.
Couldn’t agree more.. it’s a very sad situation. X
Well said ...
Well said.
Excellent comment
Perfectly said it’s actually heartbreaking what this generation has become.
Omg u looked fabulous in your “going for drink” outfit 👌 Thank you for sharing all the info about botox, it was really informative and i think it is something i would like to do, baby botox! And definitely with Dr Ayad. My husband has had facial paralysis which didn’t heal 100% and apparently that can be sorted with botox 👌 i also appreciate you being open and honest about ur procedures, some people might say it’s nobodies business but when you watch influencers on youtube and instagram and they are not transparent about their procedures it can make u feel a bit crap when u look in the mirror and wonder why u don’t look the same!! I really wish more influencers were just open and honest about it! Anyhoo lots of love 😘
I disagree that skincare and Botox are the same thing. I have been using Botox for 5 years now and love it. But Botox is invasive whilst skincare is not. Using creams and lotions and choosing to not use Botox is not hypocritical at all.
It sounds as though perhaps you might have misunderstood me as that’s not what was said in the video and the word hypocritical was not used either. But there are a lot of misconceptions as to the effects which I hopefully covered x
@@lydiamillen You said that you would question a person who says they want to let themselves age naturally (ie not use Botox) about why they choose to use ‘lovely skincare’ as essentially they do the same thing. You’re insinuating the hypocrisy in that decision. In an attempt to clear up misconceptions you should be careful to not create more. Skincare and Botox do not do the same thing.
@@MagLiz1988 the methods of working may very well be different but the intention behind both is the same: to look after your skin.
@@MagLiz1988 she did say that. It sends a wrong message.
Your face, your money. You do you girl! More power to ya
Peonies are absolutely beautiful!….they are like Roses personified.
so excited to see your newest collection Lydia! Truly my fashion inspo! Also, don’t worry about your new bag matching your shoes perfectly! As long as they’re the some color family they’ll look fine!
The leather trouser blazer outfit was wow 👍👌You really suit that look so sassy, young and chic.
I'm excited to hear about any housing updates you may have.
This explanation is really weird Botox is Botox everyone knows what it’s for, being honesty with yourself should be first, women need to understand that aging is ok you don’t always look “fresh” let’s stop looking for excuses and just age gracefully.
What will these women do when they are “older”,,,headaches,,,quality of life,,,please be honest,,it’s vanity.
Lydia did mention in the past that she's not someone who wants to "age gracefully"
I started face yoga, gua sha and face taping two years ago, I turn 38 next month and I don't have a single line. The great thing about these exercises is they are risk free, completely natural and you don't freeze or weaken the muscle, so sagging won't occur over time, as can happen with botox. All for everyone choosing their own path to beauty, but thought this might be useful to anyone looking for alternatives practices that work!
I have never heard of such a thing; I am googling it! Thank you for mentioning it.
Hey! I’m also doing gua sha but never heard about face yoga and face taping! Is there a brand you recommend?
Could you please share where did you get your information on how to properly use gua sha, how do you do face yoga and taping? Would be very grateful, thank you in advance!
Many thanks Katie! I keep meaning to start…🥴
@@renie2193 my pleasure! Like any habit it takes a while to get into, but I gua sha 5 times a week now and it’s so relaxing. Love face reflexology too and use face tape at night 4 times a week. Works miracles ♥️
The Karen millen dress looked beautiful on you ❤️ You look amazing with or without Botox. Love your videos. Good information always & you have a great sense of humor, really funny to watch. You both are a lovely couple by the way.
OMG I saw that dress on the site and was going to ask you about it. What a treat this is for me to see you in🥰🥰😍.
Love your new LV purchase!
❤️❤️ I love that dress in the beginning of this video omg
Thank you so much! The colours just pop 😍
Thanks so much for all the information about Botox ❤ There was a lot I didn't know 😳 Looooove your dresses ❤ Have a wonderful evening 🥰
Watching this on the same day I had Botox for my headaches and it has transformed my life. I recommend it for anyone who has tension in their head, neck, and shoulders!
As fresh as possible throughout that process… love it 🥰 well said
I just got botox internally in my pelvis to help with chronic pain & bowel function, so far its been amazing so botox used medicinally is being used more & more!
This is fascinating!
That's what it was developed to do, it was never developed to be used as a cosmetic treatment - used a lot on people with cerebral palsy to help with muscle spasticity.
Love your Harrods shopping trip. I still have my Elizabeth Arden vanity case that you did and I would never part with it even if the mirror did break 😂 wish you would do another one.
People also need to realize the neck shows age first. I just had a neck/facelift, neck/face c02 laser while under, and upper eye lift 6 weeks ago. Oh my goodness! Huuuge change! My neck and jowls were dreadful! Now smooth and tight. Just turned 60 April 26, 2022. I looove anti-aging! So happy you’re starting to talk about it! I’m just getting into it at my age. Wish I would have started in my mid thirties as you’re doing!
I’m so happy for you that you have found something to help you with your headaches! I’m too afraid to try it for mine and since mine are sooo minor compared to yours it’s not nearly as dire of a situation. I have been thinking about trying acupuncture though 🤔 Does the acupuncture help you with tension in shoulders/back?
I’m 23 and get Botox to treat my TMJ. It has been so life changing. I don’t grind my teeth at night nearly as much and don’t get jaw pain. I was in so much pain constantly before so I’m very grateful for discovering it.
Your body/face is your domain. Thank you for sharing though, most illuminating. Totally off topic, what is the candle that’s burning on your vanity? I’m always on the lookout for new candles. Best wishes to you ❤
This video is just in time for me,as suffering from tmj and a night grinder...i have also been offered botox, for it,but very undecided on it. I've been using an acupressure point massager, originally to give a facial massage, and lift, but found it helpful for my tmj. But so reassuring to know,i have the option of adding botox, and great seeing how it's been so helpful in your case. ...
Such a good point Botox has awful rep and I have no idea why! I’m now 26 and have had Botox as a preventative and will continue to do so - only have it every other year tbh and lasts fine! Doesn’t change your face like filler (have had filler too so no hate) so you do you Lyds! Xx
Thank you so much for your insight. I experience the same thing with my jaw and never knew botox could help me !
Had to pause to say Botox and skincare for not do the same thing at all! Skincare does exactly that, cares for your skin. Botox paralyses the muscle, that is not caring for your skin. Both might have the same result ie better skin, but they don’t do the same thing.
Agree- Botox is entirely different from a topical skin care product. It is misleading to share.
Botox has been my BEST investment in the past 5 years! I don’t overdo it (forehead and 11) and it’s so great and prevents headaches too in my case. Good for you for doing this FOR YOU. I love those KM dresses you were wearing. Stunning, especially that first one! And I love that outfit you wore for drinks! You’re the best!
Botox is useful over 35- 40 only and under it is a waste of money.
I started botox at age 42 with deep forehead wrinkle and it smoothes out perfectly with the first botox treatment.
I am 46 now and my forehead is like the babyskin, I do botox twice per year.
It is not for prevention you can start it anytime, do not let yourself fool by beauty industry, it is just business they don't care about you!
Hi Lydia, I just want to tips you on something that has worked for my headaches; cataflam, rather than paracetamol.
Loved the vlog xx
Omg I am glued to your video
Thanks so much for sharing an honest review xxx
Thank you Lydia for showing the Botox process and being open enough to share that you do this. I’d love to know whether Ali also gets Botox? In his old videos he had some quite deep lines across his forehead, but these days his forehead looks perfectly smooth. Is that improvement entirely due to Hydra facials and moisturizer? Or does he also get a little help from Botox / any fillers etc? I feel like its much harder for males to be open about aesthetic procedures, but we are in 2022 and like I said before its all about personal choice - you both look incredible, so whatever you are doing its definitely working!
Loved this x
Lydia, what product do you use on your eyelids to get that natural smooth look and color?
Use a shimmery peach powder on a tiny, soft, flat paintbrush🖌
Howard wonderful your eyes after the procedure...Well done!! Wonder woman😘
I feel like since having your chest redone you seem to look more ethereal. Your look before was chic and elegant but now you can see how much happiness radiates from you when you wear these different neckline dresses
Good choices are loving yourself as you are.
This is very interesting about botox and everything, thank you for that!
i think SO many people confuse botox and filler!! i started getting botox just before i turned 30, i get it about 3-4 times a year and i will NEVER go back, i love the way it makes me feel awake and fresh without changing my face at all. you shouldn’t have to justify yourself at all!! it made me happy to hear you talk about it and hopefully educate more people on what it actually does. love this 🖤🖤
Can I ask how you went about finding the good from the bad places to get Botox? Thanks x
@@eb2944 personally i based it on word of mouth and seeing the results of people i knew who had been to clinics in my area. definitely take your time researching, maybe checking clinics social media accounts to look at before/afters and see if they match what you’re looking for. i would also of course make sure your clinic/injector has the right certifications. i would recommend doing consultations first and asking as many questions as you need. if they are a knowledgeable practitioner they won’t have any problem answering them all for you, as they will understand the trust you are putting in them. i hope that helps! xx
The dresses always look nicer in real life!!! Love the dresses.
Always worth going shopping instead of always choosing to shop online.
Botox in the jaw and temples are life changing for headaches and TMJ :) Glad you had it done :)
I'm 52 years old and have always been paranoid about my eyebrows as one is higher than the other.. I have to say that just like you when you want something that makes you feel better and can have a positive change on your mood and life, do it! Never mind what others say too. I have dysport which is a UK/European brand of botox as Botox is the brand name. and I live in Australia, therefore try to look after my skin as much as possible, however the way I feel after a week of the dysport kicking in is amazing and my skin looks glowing and fabulous. . Good for you for being as honest and open as always. Xx❤️❤️
Grow old gracefully as God intended. It's your personal choice. I will not inject foreign objects into my body. Good Luck and live with the outcome of your chicies. It doesn't always go well. Looking like a character from Batman isn't the desired outcome.
I’m watching from America and have sound. Also just found your channel and love it! I’ve watched multiple videos over the weekend and you seem so lovely and like someone I would be friends with in real life. Subscribed! ❤️
Oh I'm so glad you've said you get it! You definitely have looked more amazing this last year, and with the combination of everything else you do for good skincare, healthy eating, etc I definitely hoped you would say there was something else 😄 I try to follow good skincare and eat healthy but definitely need a boost of something injectable so you've encouraged me to take some advice! Thanks Lydia! 🥰
I think most of that is from the internal glow up 🙊
@@lydiamillen totally agree! 💖 it's true what they say 'beauty comes from within' xx

Dear Lydia
I honestly and strongly recommend you next time when you visit Dr.Ayad ( for fixing your last boob job), not only to get Botox, but also brain cells. Meanwhile, do you know why the mental clinic's wall are green?
yeah it’s not her first time getting botox she’s been getting it for a while now
Hi beautiful lydia I hope you ali lumi and the boys are well it's so lovely to see you again thanks so much for sharing your lovely vlog love your house your garden your kitchen garden and your chic dressing room so stunning stay safe babe xxx
Lydia, that release in the jaw area is exactly what I said to my neurologist last wk when he did it.
I also get it done in my scalp, neck/shoulder areas to help with the tension/stress that I am carrying with my head issues.
Heck, even if the jaw thing is just placebo, I’ll take it!!
I have been getting Botox for over 20 years. It was primarily because I wear eyeglasses and also have a tendency to look over the top of them. To stave off furthering the horizontal forehead line that results and then to actually diminish its appearance, this was a godsend. Botox is widely misunderstood. It is typically accompanied by a good skincare routine (at-home and in-clinic). Ive seen remarkable results for other issues treated with Botox. This happens when people go to Diamond level practitioners who are skilled, ethical and conservative.
Looking beautiful as always 💃🏾
Lydia, I clench my teeth at night which adds to headaches I get. My dentist fitted me for a mouth guard appliance. Maybe that might help with the headaches. You are beautiful person, hope all your treatments work.
I paid $700 for the guard only to be part of the 10% who consistently take it out at night while asleep. That thing fits snug so kind of impressive.. I tried Botox in my jaw for the first time and while the muscle is still very noticeable the pain isn’t :)
The dressssss … gorgeous and suits you so well (especially post-surg if you don’t mind me saying). You look lovely Lydia and you are right, “fresh” is the word!
Wine is a major headache starter!
Thank you so much for this video, no one shows this or talks through it like this! How much does the Botox hurt? I have a really low pain threshold!
Botox doesn't hurt. Other than the headache afterwards.
Lydia, you don’t have to justify getting Botox and wanting to preserve your youth. Just do you!
Come on Lydia not everyone is on TikTok, so we who don’t have tiktok have to miss out on unboxing, fashion and other things. Before everyone starts to send me messages it is my thoughts and I can express them.
Tiktok is tacky just the name itself sounds so tacky 😂
@@Thetackylady I agree with you
@@Thetackylady lol
You look stunning as always, but the one thing that really I struggle to agree with is the sentence
"I would question that person, why are you using one of those lovely skincare products as well, because essentially what botox does is the same kind of thing, it just looks after what is there and makes it look lovely for longer".
I'm all up for doing botox, and I don't think that anyone should justify what are they doing botox.
But Botox is not skin care,
and the same way I don't think we should question anyone that does Botox why are they doing them, I wouldn't use the term "I would question them". The same way you have chosen to buy less bags but go with something more expensive, the same way someone can enjoy many expensive procedures that are less invasive.
I'm saying all of that as a luxury lover and someone that is looking to get botox soon. My 2 cents would be "sometimes the way you explain things you do is less relatable, then you doing them". It's your life, we are choosing to follow you and watch what you do, you don't have to explain everything you do.
Also Lazy Eye is something completely different, and it's referring to the eye ball and not your lid area.
This video is so well timed for me 💕 I just got my first Botox treatment 3 days ago, and when you mentioned it I felt so understood 🙊👏🏻❤️
I get Botox as I suffer from migraines, been a life changer, I still get them but not anywhere near as bad. Yes I have less lines but having no migraines has changed my life! Highly recommend it.
Omg this is just what I wanted to hear!
I suffer with horrendous migraines and have been having nerve block injections for the last 2 yrs. They was working so well but now they ain't as effective as they was. So now I'm getting botox as that's what they use when the others don't work and say these are very good.
Although he did tell me it was 28 which of course I asked him to repeat again as
I thought I'd heard wrong. But to my horror 😱 he was right 28 oh what 🤦♀️
How are you finding them are they painful?
Hello, may I ask you whether you've had dropped eyebrows from having it? Thank you ever so much in advance. It does help a wee bit with my chronic migraine, not loads but every tiny bit of relief is very welcome. Thanks for your comment!!!
@@Dollypops43 my migraines might come now but the headache isn’t as bad. They are also much less frequent.
@@natalialana1189 no dropped eyebrows, my Botox lady puts the injections in the hairline and in between the nose. She knows where the migraine muscles are and targets them, knows her stuff!! I also have movement so no frozen face!
@@gilldurham2853 thank you ever so much for replying☺️ my neurologist injects about 40 wee jabs every three months, and my brows do drop ... I get them in my forehead, head, back of neck and shoulders. So I am that person that gets botox to have the opposite effect, definitely not raising them in my case 😅
I think it's important for Lydia's subs to know that she uses botox because she often promotes skin care products and facials claiming those are the reasons why she looks the way she does. This is more transparent. I don't like her justification and her comparing botox (muscle paralysis) with skin care though, I think that's just her way of justifying it to herself more than anything.
That’s not a claim I’ve ever made. X
Isn't there a law now for influencers that promote beautyproducts that: 1 may NOT use a filter no more
And there was a 2th thing too arround that .... But slipt my mind now
But i don't think thats the case here (from what you are saying) . I think you misunderstood. & i'm not a huge LMG fan so its not that i'm defending her
Just because someone has had botox (or fillers, or professional skincare like peels and microneedling) doesn't mean they can't experience and comment on the effect that other skincare has had. I totally agree that it's responsible to acknowledge everything that you've had done, especially when a lot of young women follow you, but IMO she's always done that.
@@lydiamillen Please do not justify botox.
I’ve asked you a couple of times about Botox and I understand now that you wanted to address it properly and take the time to talk about it. I’m so glad you have as it is something I’ve been considering for so long but because of the ‘taboo’ keep talking myself out of it again. Looks like I’m booking a consultation 😘
Hurry up new KM collection already! I need that white collared dress!!!
Watching you on my birthday week 🎁💐🎈🎊💗☺️!
Hello Lydia, was just wondering which product do you use to make your skin look a little bit browner at the start of your makeup routine ? Thank you x
I am 36 and been having Botox for a few years now and I love it! Do what's best for you 🥰
@lydiamillen is that Bare Minerals bisque concealer you’re using under your eyes? Or was it a different concealer? Looked great.
No it was beauty pie x
Hi Lydia, I love your vlogs, thank you! I'm a migrainer myself and I just wanted to say that medication overuse is one of the common causes of migraine. Using too much medication can actually cause headaches (sounds crazy but it is true). It is a well-researched condition (I think doctors recommend 2 paracetamol a month or so). I took a "drug holiday" (recommended by my neurologist) for a month and it really changed the state & frequency of my migraines/headaches. I'm happy to learn more about botox for pain management bc I'm thinking of doing it as well. Take care!
I’ve been getting Botox for migrane management for about 18 months now, and I can honestly say it’s a flipping game changer! My neurologist who is also the head professor at the university near Where I live in NSW, as well as sits on the board of neurologists in Australia manages my condition, he also gives me Botox in the jaw. He told me it’s a doctors best friend and a game changer for a lot of people from over active bladders, excessive sweating to me and my migranes. People are too quick to judge because it’s “Botox”. He also assured me it’s actually safe because the body metabolises it in 12 weeks.🥰
I am not against Botox, as I’ve had it and also work in the medical field and know what wonders it can do for patients in various ways. I had Botox between the age of 32~35 and have not needed it since ( I’m now 48). But filler’s availability and popularity is one of the worst things ever. So many beautiful young women end up looking botched, masculine and ridiculous. Such a shame 😓. The only thing that’s positive, is the past year it has become really popular to dissolve filler back to their natural beauty. Sadly this isn’t possible for everyone as it depends how far you’ve gone. And filled lips really only look good with a full face of makeup. I wish they all could see how beautiful and feminine they are without it ☹️💕. And having Botox in your tmj is a fantastic idea for you honey 💕.
@@MinJi_Scarlett I would do a lot of research, as you can’t guarantee that the fat will take or last 🤔
I love the floral dresses on you….. but it’s SOOOOO nice to see you in something a little bit more “edgy “and young for a change (the leather trousers) x
Botox can be so subtle and undetected if it’s done properly. No skincare will do that magic regarding wrinkles. Thank you for being open about it. X
Love Dr Ayad’s humour, he really needs some tricks and tips from you to help with his Harb Garden.👨🏻🌾 🍅😄
Ps. for great healthy snacks check out Zanna vD’s Lemon 🍋 energy balls! Omg I’m obsessed with those!
Your injector is extremely knowledgeable and well informed. I wish he was in the US
Love this vlog Lydia and I’m a big fan of Karen Millen clothing ❤
Botox and skincare products purchased on the high street are NOT the same thing. For 1 skincare can only go as far as the epidermis, anything penetrating the dermis is medical grade. Botox is a neuro toxin and attacks the nerves that communicate with the muscles preventing them from contracting. Two completely different things. Skincare such as moisturisers and serums aid hydration and moisture.
@@MinJi_Scarlett no, I do not agree.
You are correct,Botox is a neuro TOXIN, people take Botox too lightly. It is unatural and a chemical that the body breaks down and where do the chemicals go? to the liver , the poor liver has to deal with the chemicals to its detriment.
I'm a "mouth guy" (or girl). Not really what we like to be called. But I am glad that you are getting much relief from your symptoms of TMD (TMJ Disorder) post-Botox. TMJ is short for the actual jaw joint, TMD is short for joint disorder which is the problem you were informed about. All the best!
Have you tried Trinny London make-up? Love it! Would love to know what you think?
Botox doesn't work that quickly. However she had the jar botox for a slimmer jaw,not headaches .
Botox, or in my case dysport, is a true game changer. For a person who has very very active mimic and works a lot with speech production, I realised at the age of 30 that it would be my routine procedure as I want to avoid having deep wrinkles around my eye area. Can't be happier that I started one day.
Dear Lydia, I have checked and the Oran sandals are available at Hermes on a similar colour and leather than your new mini Kelly. They are on the website. The only difference is that the sole is black. If you want to be at peace with colour matching. Xx
Loved that you talked about Botox and helped making more of a “normal procedure” similar to skincare. Hate that women that do it hide it out of fear of being judged to want to remain fresh and beautiful looking! Thanks for sharing and empowering women ❤️🙏
Except that it‘s not similar!! How can anything be the same when needles are used to inject chemical substances into your neural pathways, compared to creams that merely penetrate the surface of your skin?
