A beautiful pop song, I believe done somewhat in a minor chord & key, from an era that has been very long gone for decades; an era when record company executives paid as little as possible, hoping for the biggest of returns. Doesn't really matter at this point, those fellas were under so much pressure to churn out music that sold BIGTIME in the bookstores; many of it did - many of it didn't. Don't know if Cua ever reaped any benefit from his writing and hard work that he put into this album, which the producer probably called for a session player to perform bass synth, instead of Cua's real bass guitar. Mike Mead, however, did an excellent job on the acoustic drum set; that guy is a human clock; one can set a quartz watch to his perfect meter playing! Well, anyways, I played this file here on You-Tube tonight and LOVED it! However, due to my "hyper" auditory nervousa condition, I had to slightly intoxicate myself, in order to listen and ENJOY the MP3 file, without it sounding like finger nails on a chalkboard vs. a pane of glass come crashing down on a slab of cement! Ric Cua, I love your music, man! (Did John Andrew Schreiner plays keys on this great album?) I should drunken myself more often, in order to listen to such GREAT music! (4 years ago, I would have NEVER said such a insane & pitiful thing!) BCRadio.
