- Maggiatal is a valley in Tessin (Italian part of Switzerland) and Cascata del Salto is one of the beautiful waterfalls of this area. The waterfall is located near the village of Maggia and can through a short hike. This 60-metre-high waterfall surrounds a beautiful pool that invites you to swim in the summer.
The Maggiatal valley is the largest valley in Ticino and Italian-speaking Switzerland. You can reach the beautiful valley with its picturesque villages and many waterfalls via Locarno and simply drive along the Maggia River.

Superb scenery! The waterfall is wonderful but the natural pool is so tempting ... although I think the water is very cold :)👌👍

@@swisssights Oui …à peine pour dire . Nous étions à Chamonix et avions passé par le tunnel du Mont Blanc pour arriver à Courmayeur puis direction La Thuile et Zéez en France . Donc nous étions restés que quelques heures…juste pour dire que nous étions allés en Italy . Nous avions fait la même chose pour le Luxembourg , l’Allemagne et la Suisse une trempette de quelques heures dans chacun . Ils sont tellement près et facile d’accès par le France .

Loved the church. Very nice waterfall video. I have been visiting waterfalls this week on a couple different walks. Hopefully get the first waterfall video out over the next few days or when I get home in a week.
