I was using this as a piano accompaniniment for my violin playing, I was moved to tears during playing especially during the climax.

I was wondering if you might be able to help me with something? I am trying to find a “piano tutorial” (watching the hands of someone playing it on the piano), for the INTRO of this song. (0:00-0:24). I know this may sound silly, but I went through 40+ videos and countless name changes in the search, (Ex: “Piano at the start of my heart will go on”, or “Titanic theme piano intro.”) And your video is the first/only that has the.. “intro”, (I don’t know what to call it, so, simply put: What is being played during the first 23 seconds of this video.) I can’t read music yet- Do you know of, or, have any suggestions for how to go about “converting” or “transcribing” sheet music to “midi”? (Or piano keys?) That’s currently how I’m learning. I came across apps/sites where one could scan sheet music which can be transcribed to number system or midi. Or convert audio.. Bottom Line: I just thought it best to ask any advice from the actual person who [gratefully] posted this video, who is playing the beautiful song and provided the sheet music. If not, I still want to give a huge thanks for posting this video as, again, it was more difficult than I expected to find!

it's sad that so many people hate this song (including evidently Kate Winslett). It was used very effectively in the movie. It's not Horner's (the composer) fault that it's been overplayed as muzak in grocery stores and elevators. Neither is it Mozart's fault that 200+ years later, everyone wanted to use the beginning bars of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik as the ringtone for their phones.
