Sorry but, I can't understand why people can keep listening to other great singers... I honestly cannot. Since I knew about Dimash, for me he is much more than a singer. The high vibrational sounds in his voice make me feel better instantly, it doesn't matter if he sings The Meaning of eternity, or Durdaraz... There's something in his voice that literally pierces every cell of my body, reaching my soul. I am totally convinced, my brain structure has changed since I started listening to Dimash. And his voice affects me at such a level, that I can't listen to anyone else. The greatest singers I listend to in the past, for me now they do not have any sense. I hope someone here understands what I mean and what I feel, because around me nobody does. 💙🦋💙
Dimash is arguably the most advanced vocalist in recorded history! But the "best" in terms of technique, does not resonate with everyone's personal taste and interest. It's like art! The most skilled painter in the world may not paint a picture that everyone agrees with :)
I love Dimash, listen to him every day, saw him live in Prague and already have my tickets for Budapest...but I love music and singers of all kind, every artist has something different to offer and I want to enjoy as much music as possible.

I always needed diversity in the things I consume, but Dimash opened me up even more, to consider genres I usually don’t listen to. And to discover artists I normally would not have payed attention to.

Hello, Richard and Johnny!!! By this point, hopefully it's obvious to you how much we Dears appreciate and enjoy your reactions! Looking at what you've put on the thumbnail and in the description, I am already extremely excited to hear your thoughts and to learn lots of new things. Really, thank you for all the amazing content you give us!! I'd like to suggest some more Dimash songs for you to react to. There are too many more that I really hope you will check out, but I'll just mention a few for now. Please check out Your Love, Know, Adagio, and Across Endless Dimensions. Know is especially interesting because he has performed it several times in different ways. If you watch the New Wave version or the MV, he sings in Russian. The lyrics are gorgeous and I don't need to say anything about Dimash's phenomenal vocals. However, you also definitely need to watch the vocalise version from his Arnau Tour. It is very unique, and maybe if you guys would like, you could do a reaction to both the New Wave version and the Arnau version in one video, similar to what you did with the different Diva Dance performances. I could also go on forever about the other three songs, which are all in English, but I'll stop for now because I've already written too much 😂 Once again, thank you very much, you guys! You are the best 🙏❤

I was at the concert in Almaty. The concert last for nearly 4 hours and he doesn't seem to be tired at all. But the next day, he held a kind of M&G and he was clearly exhausted. He really gave it all on the stage

I wouldn't go to the comments section of a reaction on an artist whose music i don't enjoy that much just to throw mud on those who enjoy him. for one, it's bad form. fyi when Diana was debuting, and being mentored by Krutoy, Dimash encouraged his fans to support her as he does with many young artists he comes across. We should all try to be like that - supportive.
Our beloved Dimash won the award "Victoria" as "Best vocalist of the year in classical music" in Russia with this song and also Igor Krutoy who composed Olimpico, Lilla Vinogradova who written the lyrics and Dimash were awarded in Annual Pesnya Goda Gala for this masterpiece. - There ist a new video with Dimash and Placido Domingo. Placindo was one of the Three Tenors, alongside José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti.
- Also duet Dimash with Aida Garifullina "ULISSE".
Aida is a beautiful opera soprano voice. She was the "Best Female Vocalist in Classical Music" at the Russian National Music Awards (2015). And since 2014 is an ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera.
- Trio Dimash with Aida and Lara Fabian "Ti amo cosi".
Lara sing a popy style. But the harmony is just gorgeous. One of most beautiful trios and song on this world in my opinion.
- Dimash from Arnau tour "Знай (vocalise)" song. (Знай is Known in english)
It was a normal Russian song. But this version is different. Dimash sings without words with pure melismas.You see every note of melisma on his face. Every!

The first piece that Igor Krutoy and Lilia Vinogradova (lyrics) created for Dimash was the composition “Olimpico” in Italian, written specifically for the opening ceremony of the II European Games in Minsk in 2019. The cantata "Olimpico" was written taking into account Dimash's unique vocal abilities. The authors also created such works for him as "Passione", the duo "Ulisse" and the trio "Ti amo cosi", in which the artist performed together with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian at Igor Krutoy's anniversary show "Rhapsody of Ice". 🎶🎧

All those songs are so beautiful, Ulisses Ti amo cosi, Your love, but I love too I miss you, and Ok, this last song is very special because it's performed entirely with an airy voice and the MV is beautiful too was filmed in Russia in Stalingrad and depicts the period of repression in the last century.

Yes, he is definitely human.There are times when he forget the lyrics, having sound or earpiece problems, ets. but what's great about Dimash is, it doesn't really matter and sometimes he just make jokes about it on stage which is very good because he took the chance to interact with his audience and make them laugh etc.
Dimash opened the 2019 European Winter Games in Minsk with this extraordinary anthem to the belief in oneself strength and desire to improve oneself. Love which created us and the world we live in.

You should also watch the duet of Dimas and Placido Domingo, I am very curious to hear your opinion. It was aired on Friday (19.01.2024) on television in 5 countries and the video is already on Dimash's official channel. Maestro Domingo just turned 83 today. He is a legend, I have been following his work since the 3 tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras). In December, he asked Dimash to perform a duet when they worked together as a jury in a Budapest project, the Virtuosos.

Dimash has amazing self discipline and yes he's had some 'oops, that didn't come out right' BUT his recovery reflexes are too good that one just goes 'oh' and he's moved on to the next amazing thing. His regime to maintain vocal, physical and spiritual health keeps him in shape. He said in an interview that many of the songs he sings are not easy, that's why he has to keep improving his skills and why he trains daily to perform well. The Devil has nothing on Dimash when it comes to achieving goals!. If you get the chance to watch an interview he did with a lady from the KZTV it's very insightful of the down to earth Dimash and his take on music and why he does what he does. In another interview he said music should be beautiful and appealing to the heart of the listener (words to that effect). I believe its why Dimash won't just sing anything (e.g you won't hear vulgarity in his songs) its like for him a song has to have meaning and purpose be it about romantic love, life, death, in rememberance, praise and honor or encouraging others (e.g Olimpico). I will wait for your reaction on his duet with Placido Domingo, it's on his channel. it's awesome.

This was written by Russian composer Igor Krutoy especially for Dimash voice and to be performed during the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd European Olympic Games in Minsk in 2019. This performance is from his solo concert and is very inspiring not only for athletes of all over the world but for everyone

Proof if needed that Dimash is a true professional is the fact on a number of occasions he adjusted his earpieces and his mic without batting an eyelid using it as part of the total performance

Goosebumps everytime I hear this song. He is a superb singer.
Dimash seems to struggle only when he is ill and even then he is above what most people can do. When he did Daybreak on Singer 2017 he was very ill. Had lost his voice and had to have injections in his throat. You can see it in his eyes. He STILL went out and sang. He later did the song at his Bastau concert and you can see a huge difference between a healthy Dimash and an ill one.
Dimash was also ill when he sang Stranger in the Shine! Super Brothers version in China. I was concerned for his health due to his clearly lessened breath, but he still managed to do amazing things with his voice--changing up the version in Dimash fashion.

From my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pieces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!! Second:
Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! I just saw in the live stream Dears asking for Daybreak. I hope by then you will do a double reaction. First his performance on the Singer. He was quite sick, lost his voice and had to have throat injections. Second his concert performance at Bastau. Both versions are very moving!! I wanted to add that when Dimash first sang Stranger in China he was sick and running a fever. You could see him sweating and straining and when he finished they had to take him to the hospital. Another time in China he showed up for a show but he lost his voice and could not sing and wanted to tell the people who came to see him. He told them he did not want to lipsync.
And yet he still did a little acapella thing, even if the host told the audience in Chinese that he'd been coughing up blood before.... jeez...

Es que constantemente, su talento, su poder vocal, su potente voz, su control de su aparato fonador, su total control del escenario, son sorprendentes, y junto con el maestro Igor Krutoy, son el dúo de genios ideal. I was so excited to see your Dimash reaction this morning. I wait for them. The most requested ARE the ones intended to stun you. He does have a very large body of work after 7 yrs and every song is incredible. My current list of favorites is around 65. The songs are beautiful in any language, but especially the ones in Kazakh and Chinese. For something totally different from the epic Olympico, the intimate Ikanaide is one of the most perfect performances ever done by anyone. He had sung this song many times in Chinese under the name Autumn Strong. The performance of Ikanaide was his first time singing it in the original Japanese. It was done in the studio during the pandemic and livestreamed for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. The sad backstory of the song is very interesting as well. It is a real contrast to Olympico and is equally impressive. Thank you for your wonderful Dimash reactions.

Thank you for your reaction. Maybe you are interested in a recent performance of Dimash with the legend Placido Domingo. Both were in the jury of a show for young classical talents. The video is on the channel of Dimash. - You find mostly the subtitles for the songs in the cc/settings, also in the video of Olimpico. - Dimash moves a lot in his concerts.😀 Dimash is very talented and works on his craft very heard, but he doesn't speak all the languages he sings in. I love listening to Dimash so much because of the color of his voice. It's not conducive because of the many octaves.
For some songs without all the vocal gymnastics, try "Omir," "If I Never Breath Again," and "Couldn't Leave."
And don't forget the stunningly beautiful Mahabbat Ber Magan (Give Me Love) in Kazakh. The 2021 Digital Show version is (to me) one of his absolute best. No big highs or lows (which are always beautiful) but his vocal skills come through even more with his gorgeous voice tone and flexibility.

It's strange that Omir gets thought of as no gymnastics, it is incrediebly hard to sing with still quite a wide range and different timbres, maybe not having the dramatic jumps and the mellowness of it masks the difficultness.
@@donnakebab5415 While your statement is correct, I don't think anyone is saying that it isn't difficult! My assessment is that it lacks the highest highs and lowest lows that these men already know he can do, and that it would be good for them to see how brilliantly he can handle songs that don't contain those.
I love that you’re looking at the composition as well as Dimash’s vocals. You probably understand why Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to work with Dimash after hearing him sing (in the video of Sinful Passion Krutoy rises at the end to start the standing ovation-I’m not sure if that’s the first time he heard Dimash, but it was shortly after this concert that the two began to collaborate, and I believe Olympico was one of the first collabs).
With this song, I’m intrigued by the military tattoo of the drums and the super dominant, dramatic vocals. Until I got hold of a translation, I was thinking this song would be more of a military-themed piece. Weird to put the love and flowers themed lyrics to this super dramatic music but I like the tension between the two elements.
There are a couple pieces where Dimash supposedly had a cold-in fact there were several pieces in a period of time like that, and you can hear him reaching for notes a little bit. In the SOS where he’s wearing red, his hand is shaking in places and he has trouble hitting the highest notes. I wondered if his team had him pushing too hard at the time. He seems much better now, and in fact I’ve noticed in a recent concert version of Stranger that he is accessing his “bass” register more easily, which suggests he’s finding more time to practice.

Just for your own enjoyment, check out this performance from a fan cam version on Dimash48’s YT channel. Audio isn’t as good but the entire clip is a closeup! Watch carefully at the very end how long it takes Dimash to come out of character. His own mom says sometimes she doesn’t recognize him onstage!

Great suggestions! It is always fun to see a reactor admire Dimash’s version of Daybreak on The Singer and then follow up with his Bastau concert version which is perfection! Also, I love the end of that fancam where he is still so in the music at the end of Olympico and finally takes his in-ears out and transforms to our happy and smiling Dimash. Excellent!!

You mentioned the composer's freedom in the context of collaboration with Dimash and his incredible vocal range - in 2017, Dimash sang "Ocean Over The Time", the theme song for the video game Moonlight Blade, composed by Thomas Parisch. It won in the "Hollywood Music in Media Awards" in the nomination "The best original song of video game".
Thomas Parisch said in an interview: "....."......Apart from that it was really fun to work with this outstanding singer. Dimash truly is a natural when it comes to musical expression and his range and control spanning several octaves are absolutely unique. I really wanted to use and showcase all this in the song. Originally I was writing for two and a half octaves, which I thought rather large already. But in the recording with his improvisation towards the climax, he pushed it beyond and unbelievable three and half octaves. To witness that live was a real treat.
A fun fact about the vocal recording is that him being Kazakh, he sang in a language he is not fluent in. So he truly did a remarkable job conveying all that emotion while he had to pay special attention to his pronunciation of the Mandarin lyrics.
Apart from that, we had other complicating factors of the production since it was spread out all over the world. Only the piano was recorded in L.A. (for which we got the one and only Randy Kerber - what a pleasure and honor!), while the vocals and other band instruments were tracked in Bejing, and the orchestra was recorded in Budapest (but monitored remotely from Beijing; deadlines left no other choice). I actually got to go to China for the Beijing part. It was nice since I finally got to meet the whole team from Tencent and also got to work with Dimash personally. A truly memorable experience."
