Go for one from a 97 or earlier. The 98’s and up have an interference engine. So if that timing belt ever snaps on you you’re kinda fucked. The earlier ones have 250hp and have slightly worse mileage but who cares haha, with fully forged internals, boosting them is too easy. I always say go for a supercharger, they sound better in my opinion lol.

most people don’t realize how important it is letting the beep go off for at least 2-3 times proper clip this is how you start an old Lexus

You might have a damage from ECU if not, check the PVC and EGR need replacement or check Mass flow need to clean and throttle body need to clean too
