    Loved the video! But in 3:43 what did you mean by never put the tweezers tip down? I understood the results of why we shouldnt and what will happen if we do, but do you mean? like putting the tweezers together same side opening or?

    Question: so when you use the barbicide you only use it in the beginning of your day to sanitize your tools and not in between clients?

    • @LashTherapy
      @LashTherapy  Před rokem

      as far as tools I use go, I sanitize in-between clients! sanitation is done in-between clients and at the end of the day same with tools! Im sorry if I didn't specify!

      I wash the tools, disinfect and rinse and dry, depending on your state I would look up your specific regulations from state board!

    • @LashTherapy
      @LashTherapy  Před 4 lety +1

      Its a non electrical recliner! Because when shoping for a recliner it must lay almost all the way flat and will need to be raised.

    So you don’t have to change the solution after each client?

    • @LashTherapy
      @LashTherapy  Před měsícem

      Great question!State board regulations for changing the solution used for disinfecting lash tools can vary by state, but generally, they follow guidelines to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene. Here are some common practices:
      1. **Frequency**: Disinfectant solutions should be changed daily or more frequently if the solution becomes visibly contaminated.
      2. **Proper Dilution**: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for diluting the disinfectant to ensure it is effective.
      3. **Tool Cleaning**: Tools must be thoroughly cleaned of any debris or residue before being placed in the disinfectant solution.
      4. **Soaking Time**: Tools should be soaked in the disinfectant solution for the time recommended by the manufacturer, typically ranging from 10 to 30 minutes.
      5. **Rinse and Dry**: After soaking, tools should be rinsed with clean water and dried with a clean towel or air-dried before use.
      6. **Storage**: Once disinfected, tools should be stored in a clean, dry, and covered container to prevent contamination.
      7. **Record Keeping**: Some states require salons to maintain records of when disinfectant solutions are changed and when tools are disinfected.
      For the most accurate and specific regulations, you should refer to the state board of cosmetology or the relevant regulatory body in your state.
