SS3 Vegeta always makes me laugh because it reminds me of that moment in Super when Trunks saw SS3 Goku. Later on, when Vegeta was training with him, they went SS2, and Trunks asked him to turn SS3 like Goku, and Vegeta just smiled and kicked his ass hard with SSGSS. That was hilarious

honestly i think it’s the best looking arena fighter ever. at least dragon ball wise bc demon slayer looks great too. but this art style really looks like the anime.
@@jamaaldagreatest2748 If you think this is great, look at Raging Blast 2. Models are somewhat glossier, but overall graphics are definitely an improvement. I think the objectively best looking anime arena fighters are Naruto Storm 4 and Raging Blast 2. Very beautiful games.

I suspect the reason Vegeta never went SSJ3 is simply because the form was rendered obsolete at the same time Toriyama revived the franchise. SSJ3 was still the most powerful form of SSJ at the time Raging Blast was made, so it still seemed plausible.
Well that, and it takes time and money to draw and animate a ssj3.

@@jordandennis6794 Late reply, but that’s not how animation works. Animating is a very tedious process that can be very costly. Because of this, it’s common for animators to find ways to make animation easier. Super Saiyan hair is shorter, so it requires less time and looks less awkward when not completely fluid. Super Saiyan 3 on the other hand is very much dependent on how fluid the hair moves, thus needing it to be animated frame by frame with motion. It wouldn’t surprise me that they don’t use Super Saiyan 3 much because of how time consuming it is to animate all the frames, much like how they never brought back cell due to drawing spots on him being quite annoying.

To be totally honest, Goku would still win. It would be an extremely intense, epic and close battle, but Goku would still win entirety on the grounds of experience with the form. Goku would have been much more accustomed to the intense physical strain on his body than Vegeta.

Think of it this way, Frieza was unable to maintain Golden Frieza while fighting Goku and Vegeta due to inexperience with the form right? He was unused to the strain from the form and his power kept dropping dramatically the longer the fight went on. It'd be a similar concept with this fight. Even if Goku isn't significantly stronger than Vegeta (which he was in Z), having more experience with SSJ3 would be enough of a deciding factor for the fight. Goku would be able to manage the strain and energy control to last longer in the form than Vegeta. Especially if he had gone into fighting him without breaks like he does here.
