hi what size chambers are you running? im building something similar atm and worried my chambers are to small to hit lows well does yours hit lows? thanks
It’s the same process as any other amp. Oscilloscope, DD1 and use the amps maximized signal indicator on the logo as a guide. Pretty spot on now that I think back to it. I used my homemade distortion detector which worked out fine. Watch Samvids video for a better explanation of where to set the rest of the dials.
I think I metered 145 but almost blew them out. Never did reach 150. I still need to seal off the cabin but have been busy with family and kids. Sorry for the late response.
I was aiming to seal it off from the trunk. Plus the kids loved to watch stuff float lol. Might do that just to change it up a bit. I just don’t want to mess my trunk latch up.
@ogscythe6118 It must be exhausting to have all the "experts" critiquing your system based upon a CZcams video telling you what you "should have done." Long as you're happy with it great.. very nice box.

these need a big box or nah ?
How’s it compare to the aw5k? Replaced that same amp with this just waiting on it from Brazil.
Stronger to be honest. The smart tech is a game changer. Dampening factor isn’t same so you sacrifice SQ
How did you set your gains on smart 5 ?

Ported through arm rest?
Yes. Still have to sea it off completely. One day lol
What it metered

@@ogscythe6118 shouldnt
@@ogscythe6118 so where ever the port is is wat gets pressurized
Port rear facing in a trunk is generally a massive loss in performance. The only gain is rattle.
@@xchimnyx wrong
Ported box is best for sound and bass punch
4th order means it’s ported on one side and sealed on the other. The port is front firing into the cab.
@@ogscythe6118absolutely but band pass has limited range. I bet it's punchy as hell though! What is the ports turned to?
