Highlights of this rare TV special include an extremely rare performance of “A Little Bit Of Love” which may be the first performance of this gem since 1986 (20 years prior), Ralph’s sizzling rendition of his smooth classic single “Sensitivity,” Johnny Gill’s seductive rendition of “My, My, My,” Bobby’s raucous rendition of “My Prerogative,” which he TOTALLY embodied during this performance and many, many more! I’m watching this video in 2024🎉Nearly 20 years after it was recorded. They are celebrating 40 years and have a residency in las Vegas. They still sound, look and move fantastic. Saw them in 1986 when I was 16. I’m 53 now. NE for life❤

You can tell that Ralph and Johnny became very good friends over the years. It's evident in this video, because Ralph is the one that kept egging Johnny on to show out and also in the way the two of them embraced at the end. Johnny is way too extra at times, but there's no denying his talent. I guess after 33 years, they're all use to it by now. 😂 Bobby looked happy to be reunited with his N.E. brothers. For the most part, they all appeared to be in very good shape, energetic and full of stamina. It takes a lot to perform for 1 1/2 hours straight, even for a 20 year old. And Ralph sure kept his voice and those abs in good condition. 😁 I still wish I had seen this when it first aired. 👍

Having been born in 1972, raised in the Bronx, in a housing project, I had the pleasure of enjoying Motown, the Philly Sound, Disco, the beginnings of Hip Hop. My favorite groups were the O'Jays, Jackson 5ive, Temptations, The Sylvers, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, but in 1983 I was introduced to New Edition, my generations Temptations, and my all-time favorite R&B group. NEW EDITION is still the Shit.

I wish they had promoted the album, maybe they did and we’ll find that concert someday! We can pray, lol! I like that they included “A Little Bit Of Love” on this show. Talk about a rare performance!!! It was a sweet gem to hear them perform it 30 years later!
@@PurpleRain500 Yep! I had commented about that earlier this year (them performing A Little Bit Of Love) I was so happy to see that. I agree too, I wish they perform songs from that album. As adults they never really perform any songs from the post/Bobby/pre-Johnny era. “Count Me Out” is usually the one they do, but I’d love to see With “You All The Way” and “Hey There Lonely Girl” live as well.

Once again you off to a great start in 2020. Remember having this dvd when i used to network with NE Fan Club back in those times and one of them was kind of enough to make me copy. Some of those apart of NE Fan Club attended that show in 2006 and the special was supposed to be on BET. I read from the message board of the NE Fan Club that there were some songs cut out of the special plus Bobby also performed Roni at that show. Whatever reason it didn't work out between New Edition and BET network but they chose to sell the dvd's at their concerts. During that time, i was preoccupied with college and finding a job (Found work with AutoZone and still with them) and wasn't able to do concerts for awhile. This show has all six members in attendance. Also Bobby was somewhat in shape and able to do the dance moves (a little winded on the vocals) for the songs he participated in onstage. Definitely rare performance of 'A Little Bit Of Love'. They mainly performed that song on the 'All For Love' tour which is an audio version of that performance under ROB NE Historian youtube account (another NE fan who got the knowledge and resources to different stuff regarding New Edition). Yep, it’s crazy how long it took. This is a whopping ELEVEN YEARS prior. Unbelievable. NE needs to really get it together. It’s been 40 years and they don’t have it together YET. For a #NE4Lifer it’s as sad as it is embarrassing.
