I enjoy country music and these gospel ones are the best I have heard these singers sing.Bill Anderson has been one of my favourite ones since he started singing.I live in the Bahamas and Billy Walker came to my Island ( 350 population) a number of times and everytime he and some locals would have a lil Singsong on our Ballfield and he also sang at our Church. We were all so sadden when he and wife Betty were killed in bus accident.🙏🏻❤️🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸

This is why I love the old school traditional country music. These older country artists never forgot their church and gospel roots. I grew up hearing most of these artists both in country and gospel albums.

That was a great story about " what a friend we have in Jesus"
He actually had the same thing happen to him a second time.
He was about to marry and his girl got sick and died.
I think it wasnt Northern Ireland, it was actually Dublin he was from.
But what a wonderful story of submission to God.
