No, their agency / label has nothing to do with their enlistment and choices of base/division in military, its on their own, its between them as SK male netizen and SK goverment, but if they (male netizen) has some disability or physical weaknesses they might posted in the public officer not in the military base.

And if the disability is too "severe" they might not let them go.
E.g. Turbo's Kim Jongkook couldn't serve because of severe scoliosis.

Military service in general goes like this:
They enter a basic training camp for a month and then have a short vacation at home after which they join a unit to which they are classified according to their skills.
For example: D.O. did not get a vacation after the training month because he received extra training for his role as a military chef (which for that he received a lot of compliments. He and another soldier were known as excellent cooks so much so that their unit became famous for having a dining room that is like a '' recommended & famous restaurant ''!)
XIUMIN started as an assistant training instructorֱ! Which means that he excelled in training especially and also that he has the ability to guide, calmness, authority and charisma (!!). He then participated in musicals (one of which he performed with D.O.!), While serving in a special unit stationed at the border between the two Koreas! (called 'DMZ' I think..)
Only a few are accepted into this unit because there is a limit to the number of soldiers who can be at the border (due to political agreements), as only those who can really benefit there are selected, and each soldier has to do several roles simultaneously. (Proud of our XIUMIN!)

Actually in the last clip, d.o screamed because he wanted to give his speech after chanyeol, but the host thanked them immediately (you can hear her saying "kamsahamnida~") after chanyeol was done because she didnt know or she had to wrap it up for time. So d.o got frustrated that he waited for cy to end but he still cant give a speech ahahahaha.

The issue of 'compulsory recruitment' is a sensitive issue in public discourse in South Korea. Especially when it comes to celebrities. People do not like celebrities that try evade service, while all other citizens have to give up two years of their lives. (Especially since they rarely get vacations, and some enlist at ages that are already in the middle of their careers, as it is possible to enlist from the age of 18 to the age of 29).
Many appreciated D.O. for choosing to live a life like a normal person and enlist early unlike what celebrities usually do - they postpone until the last minute (age 29. which is 30 in the Korean counting).
When there are celebrities in the military unit it does not give them special treatment at all. They are accepted as ordinary soldiers and the atmosphere of the army (especially the complete detachment from the world), causes them to live there like any other soldier.
(Although the military in Korea takes advantage of the opportunity and allows all soldiers to participate in military musicals and military promotion and publicity activities.)
(a very interesting thing is that the army in South Korea makes it possible to make reality shows inside the deer camps. There are TV shows where celebrities of all ages or even non-Korean idols are put in, and given military training)
