This series has a wonderful male lead who isn’t toxic and is so supportive and sweet. And it doesn’t drag the romance arc out and people don’t get together til the end, which is so annoying among shows.

@@euniceotieno3020 Dude, even now in 2022 (2 years after writing my original comment), I still think about how great this show is. It has a perfect balance of comedy and drama. There is a side plot I don't care much about (the cliche love triangle thing), but there is a moment at the end that makes the entire show 100% worth it. I can't spoil it, but it brings the drama level to 1,000 and it's very emotional. This show is so memorable 🥰

Anyone wondering whether they should start this drama, you definitely should! The romance is great and they have a ton of kisses! Way more than any Cdrama or Kdrama, and it’s in every episode after they get together! Love it! It does drag on a bit at the end but the couple is so cute that I didn’t mind.

Loved the couple, they were so cute and fun to watch. Lots and lots of sweet kisses. The storylines were mostly easygoing, which is a nice break from the heavier dramas. I really liked the main and secondary actors. I highly recommend this show.
Just the first ep and I'm loving it already. Ling Mei Shi is doing an awesome job this being her first drama. So in love with Alen Fang's character.

This is my second time around watching this drama. Good story line. Enjoy the casts. They did a great job making the drama fun to watch. The two leads were great! Wish all the dramas have English subtitles like this.

Excellent historical drama, with many funny moments too. Great actors and costumes, the two leads are both awesome. I'm particularly happy that Fang Yi Lun gets the girl in this one. He was very likeable in Jiu Liu Overlord but didn't get the girl there.

I Love Chinese dramas regardless if they are historical or fantasy.. I think they are a lot better for my grands to watch.. no actual sexual scenes.. usually they help my grands to read English words.. to help them in reading.. they think its a party to watch an episode of Chinese drama.. we light candles and snacks and soft drinks.. and we call it a party .. but they have to make good grades in school for it to be a real party for them... i personally like the plots of mystery and discovery if the plots.. leaving us hanging on our seats for the next episode.. A BIG THANK YOU to the translators who took the time to help the English speakers.. also .. the grandchildren and myself are learning words in Chinese which helps us all to practice them with each other.. TY to the actors and Directors.. from the top to the people who do the props and music.. ... a BIG THANK YOU!!! TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS DRAMA.

This is my second favorite drama the first being The Eternal Love and the third Ten Miles of Peach Blossom. The storyline, the acting, the chemistry between the main leads and the people around them were exceptional. This drama needs a season 2 and I need to more of Bai Qing and Ye Hua.

Great show, awsome couple; one of th best chemistry in cdrama! Both actors are perfect and reallt talented. I really loved the charactors they were portraying. Finally a cdrama with realistic kissing scenes
