    As an IEI, I've noticed that I share the exact same aversion to socializing as ILIs, and only do it when necessary. However, the difference is that ILIs will not give a shit how they come across to others once they're engaged with other people, as you mentioned in this video. They will not care to be polite, smile, and take care of other people's feelings. I, on the other hand, once I'm engaged, I will feel compelled to do all of those things. It comes naturally.
    With that said, socializing does not really interest me. It does not give me energy. I'm more interested in staying home, isolated for weeks and just thinking about my ideas of how humanity should move. I could literally spend all my life just thinking about these things.

    I admire ILIs a lot, but I get the impression most of the time I am talking to them they're just thinking "What is this fucking clown talking about." They've humbled me and given me thicker skin, I appreciate that lol.

    The best way to make an IEI (mostly for MBTI INFJ) to change their mind is to SHOW them, not just tell them. By show, I mean to let them discover it themselves and not just show them the stats and numbers. We really are prideful and we take not letting other people tell us what to do seriously.
    For example, a few years back, my cousin recommended me a series she thought I would like. I MADE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TO AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. A few years later I stumbled an episode of that same series idly watching while doing another task, and I was blown away. It became one of my all time favorites.
    I actually don't regret not watching it the first time it was recommended to me because having discovered it unexpectedly and unassumingly was so much more satisfying and much more meaningful.

      I agree that the "best way is to show them." It's very hard to convince them through talk or articles.

      I (IEI) notice I need a good logical reason - explanation always, not information. Aka I need Ti, not Te. When just "facts" are given to me, I react with "so?.. this means nothing until you tell me WHY".
      Can't stand when people just say "this is the data", then I need to know the whole process that led to that data (Ti chain), to trust it.
      Aka not trusting the science, needing to do the science my self. Also in many things I got good at, I re invented the wheel myself instead of just looking it up online since it already exists, and caused me a lot of time wasted.

    ILI is often proficient at determining the trajectory of societal trends while also maintaining their own self-interest. Analysis of societal trends takes significant emphasis on practicality for ILI, and is often used in business.

    IEI 6w5, here. I have Asperger's, Borderline Personality Disorder, C-PTSD, Paranoid Personality Disorder and suffer from Betrayal Trauma and fear abandonment/rejection. I don't trust people and almost misanthropic outside of my favorite person. I'm also a "NiTi jumper" and don't really value my Fe like I used to. When I do use Fe, I have to stop myself from manipulating others. I have serious trust issues, become jealous and Ne manifests into paranoid ideation that causes me to accuse my partner of cheating without concrete proof. I over analyze, overthink and hyper vigilant to words, body language, tone etc for any perceived threats or harm. I feel like everyone has ulterior motives, and out to get me. I'm too busy reading between the lines for any form of deception and it's exhausting. I know I'm unhealthy and highly neurotic. I'm going to counseling and take medicine. It sucks feeling like this.

    I don't struggle to get along with people. I just don't care about getting along with most people. Most people do not interest me or benefit me. I mean that sounds very self-centered maybe. But honestly is that bad? Why do I want to spend time with people who serve no use or purpose to me? Why would ANYONE do that?

      So true, a friend of mine (INFP) asked me why I dumped a couple of friends of mine from my past, I told him despite being fond of them and having no hard feelings, I cant offer much utility to them and they dont offer much to me anymore seeing as they're long distance and we no longer share the same interests. If I am not useful, I dont feel fulfilled from the relationship and dont see why people would like me cause Im usually a wet blanket, sometimes I make people laugh, a lot, just my pessimistic side is shown more often and I kill the mood. As you say as well, why expend energy, especially dealing with emotional matters (which are extraordinarily draining for us) maintaining relationships that bear little to no fruit?

    • @bourasayyoub2580
      @bourasayyoub2580 Před 3 měsíci +1

      Well this personality system explains that we all preprogrammed to have tendencies in behavior , yours leads to think this way and other who have Fe just enjoy being with people emoting , they have more energy to handle people they disagree with or have no use for them because that's just how they are they dont think the way you do (use /no use) , i mean why anything is the way it is , we are just animals that act on instinct and genes .

    I'm an IEI but there's a lot I feel I share in common with ILIs in regards to being cold and valuing logic over emotion and using my logic with a humanitarian bent. Would you say there are variations within the IEI type? Ones that value logic more than feelings and vice versa?

    • @SabeloNada00
      @SabeloNada00 Před rokem +1

      In socionics ILI is the gloomy romantic logician, reason why the archetype is given the nickname of Balzac, the writer, father of realism.“Every moment of happiness requires a great amount of Ignorance”. Honore Balzac.... IEI is more of the seemingly sweet and innocent opportunist who is people smart. They usually find a way to surround themselves with very strong people, and they are not afraid of advertising their vulnerability one way or another. So it seems sometimes that ILI is more soft hearted and IEI is actually way more calculating in interpersonal relationships. It is well known that for IEI marriage of convenience is not considered bad, "you provide protection I provide beautiful company". whereas ILI needs NApoleon´s strong Fi to get married, meaning he needs to believe the partner has enough love for both of them, as he produces deep feelings but does not feel capable of sustaining them or to emote them.

      @@SabeloNada00 yeah I’d say I’m an IEI based on your description. I think so too. I would say I’m a “subtype” of the IEI that values my introverted functions more resulting in a ILI or LII appearance. I even used to think I was those types based on poor MBTI descriptions of the corresponding types. Thank you for your comment.

    Strange, but stereotypically ili have common features to infp. Mbti community describes infp like most sad and pessimistic type😅 the same about ili in socionic memes. For example, Kurt Cobain's type is infp in most common opinion, but ili (logical!) in socionics

    • @PracticalSocionics

      Be mindful that INFP in mbti is someone with Fi as the dominant function vs the INFp in socionics has Ni as the dominant function.

    I thought I'm ili , cause I'm surely irrational. But then I found, that ili is more like intj of mbti (functions, relationships, etc), not intp. So, now I know, I'm intp and lii (but I'm not rational as they describe lii)

    • @SabeloNada00
      @SabeloNada00 Před rokem +2

      Not really. In Russian literature Robespierre LII is always described as the strict grouchy one, and Balzac ILI is very obviously irrational, Otherwise how could he deal with Napoleon SEE´s crazy irrationality?

    Hmm. Seems like my longer comment is not getting through. So I guess I'll talk in allegories and metaphors.
    A few things from an IEI perspective (though I mostly resonate with INFJ NiFeTiSe):
    01. Clever Tom and the Leprechaun
    02. Fire is not the only cause of smoke. Fire is not the only source of warmth. Go figure.
    03. I'm willing to bet you don't know what having a Mercury and Mars conjunct in Sagittarius in the 9th house means.
    04. Robert Greene's 21st Law
