Amazing! I have performed this on many occasions on the Violin, and had never ever imagined it being played on any other instrument...but the FLUTE!!! well, I am uber impressed. I was slightly apprehensive as to how you would perform the double stopping and the lower registered notes below what a flute can reach, but they were very subtly executed and I am in love with this piece once again due to your interpretation and instrumentation of this already outstanding piece of music...bravo!!!

My wife,Dorothy/N.E.Conservatory grad-72/just listened to CZcams Mendelssohn violin on wooden flute. She loves this; she learned to play flute on violin music. She plays a Haynes ..may trade for a wooden flute. She fondly remembers Mr.Zoon when he was in Boston. Hoping to be in Japan within a year. Looking for connections for recitaling. Calling Haynes factory next week re: wooden flutes. Didn't see a reply to SirMTB. thx
Nobody plays on all wooden instruments anymore, and it's so sad. I was at the conservatory when Mr. Zoon was with Boston Symphony, and since he's left there is very little interest in producing wooden instruments. I would be interested in knowing how you felt about the new Braun wooden flutes, and also wondering if you knew if Haynes is still/could still be comissioned to produce another flute like yours. Also, just for clarification sake, your entire flute is of cocus, or just the head? Ciao
