      In the thumbnail, you have a pic of a coupe civic labeled ek. Only hatches are ek. Coupes are ej#. And the si is obviously em1. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Civic_(sixth_generation)
      If anyone can clear this up that would be great. Am i wrong or did you make a mistake. I feel like there is a misconception about the trim codes.

    cars are not meant to be slammed down / lowered like this I know from experience I've owned a 2001 accord lx sedan & shortly after I purchased the car I put the factory struts back on & removed the lowering kit the car drove like it was manufactured to perform.
    I noticed when the car was lowered the way the car handled was unsafe I had to literally be aware of ground clearance at all times & could not operate the car at or above speed limits & the previous owner that lowered the car did everything right.
    Honda's are not meant to be that low unless you not only do everything correctly but also modify the frame & chassis so the wheels are not tilted beyond the way the car was manufactured for proper alignment .
    These cars are extremely dangerous because most people who slam them down do not spend the money it takes to lower the car without changing the geometry of the alignment.
    Again if the frame & chassis is correctly modified it's a hole different story because then the vehicle will preform the way it's been modified to perform.

    • @TheRealDannydos
      @TheRealDannydos Před rokem

      They can fit, do your research but 17x7 17x8 I would say +42 and +45 on the offset. 17/40/205 - 17/40/225 on the tires. It's going to come down to what type of look you're going for also.

      Spakes that’s a 99 or 00 Civic not a em2. You can tell by the door trim, em2’s don’t have that.

      The EM2 is the 7th gen coupe from 2001-2005. That is the EM1.
