Even after 2 years - Pooore CZcams pr 20 min find kr chuka hu - no such Clear Video of Horn replacement - sab mei they are Disrupting the wires of Nexon - Viz against Warranty

It would have been much better if you had placed the Hi-tone in the a/c coil area and low-tone near the wheel fender area. Since the hi-tone is now in a fully covered and insulated zone. Which will impair the sound traveling long distance...

Sir, you try to installed both creta horns. The sound is much sharper. Today I installed in my i20 2011. It sounds different with single and dual. With dual, sound is very sharp.

No don’t change the fuse. Fuse are provided as per wire’s current carrying capacity, and load. You can fit Creta horn in Nexon without any modification.

How do you install in the cars that comes with single horn as there won't be two wires for the two horns?
Right hand bottom wala horn clamp at service center will cost 60 or 70 rupees, I ordered last Sunday, will get it by tomorrow maybe, a 13mm bolt as in this video + dual horn relay attached harness 300 to 400rupees+ couplers as shown in video if in warranty (1 extra female coupler jo harness mein connect hoga) + horns, please remember is video mein jo inka dar hai after new front horn fitting will for sure puncture ac condenser grill in even small impact, msin ye jhel chuka hoon, bumper ka kuch nahin bigarhega , aage do lagane ka to kabhi sonchna bhi mat, as per European standards right horn ka placement sahi hai, nexon ke left hand bottom mein jagah hi nahin hai, doosra ideally wahin hona chahiye, I will try this Sunday 😊to find a way to fit both on the right hand bottom

I installed horns and i can feel a lot of vibrations on the accelerator pedal, any idea on how to remove it? I didn’t use the stock metal patti with rubber washer! I think its the issue.
Yes use stock metal bracket with rubber washer
@@KarDIY i have nexon ev, the installel somehow managed to remove most of vibration using thicker metal strips, it worked but i still asked to install the stock horns.
The problem is even in stock horns i can feel the vibration!
Abhi i am using stock horn with stock rubber strips, still vibration aa gya. May be its losely fitted , i dont know. I think its a problem in some cars as i went to service station and say few cars having vibrations and most cars having little to no vibrations

Please make sure you change the set-up right away, a minor impact may puncture ac condenser , did cost me almost 13k to repair, buy right hand bottom horn clamps, better to install both of them there. Bumper ka kuch nahin hoga lekin AC ki watt lag jayegi. I will repeat you must change horn locations, thank you !

Most car horns are 12V, that's not the deciding factor. You have to consider the amps rating for these horn. From what I have gathered disc type of stock horn will have a fuse of 15 Amps. But these higher end windtone (trumpet) type horn usually have a higher rated fuse. You can confirm the same from creta's fuse rating provided in the owners manual.
Now when a horn circuit (wiring, relay) are chosen with a max rating of somewhere around 15 amps. If you use a horn which draws more current over a period of time something will go kaput. It could be the relay, fuse or worst the wiring. If that is the case your warranty is void irrespective of whether you have cut the wire or not. In worst case scenario it can also cause fire.
It is true that you should always check power consumption (wattage) of horn before installing them. Also it is not true that always trumpet horn consume more power than disc horn.
Company never use exact rating fuse/Wiring but always consider safety factor.
Moreover power consumption is not mentioned on these horns so you have to calculate it using multimeter.
Generally Trumpet horn consume 5A +-1A current each.
@@KarDIY "company never use exact rating fuse/wiring". What do you mean by this? The fuse will be rated to break for overcurrent or short circuit and will be selected based on the circuit components. The wiring will be rated at a higher grade than the fuse, this is how an electrical system is set up. These are precise set ups they are not generic.
I don't know for a fact if the creta horn actually draws more current than the nexon stock horn. That's for you to check. However since you have straight up installed this set up without checking if the system can handle the electrical load, there might be people who might have blindly followed your steps without giving it a second thought. It's your responsibility to state these facts in your DIY videos.
Company never use exact rating fuse/wiring means for example if any component consume 10A then fuse will be of 15A and wire rating would be 20A. Fuse and wire rating would be higher than component.

This connector can be found at cng installer shop. I got them for free as they were old n used but good part was built quality was very good. God know what tata thought while using such alien connectors throughout car 😂. Bdw why did you went for hyundai horns? You could have got Roots windtone for 500-600 bucks which also sounds more or less same.
