Wish i lived in these time bring this back 2023 2024
WOW.. I just hit the jackpot at a Flea Market.. several Welk lp's in mint shape, 2 by Myron Floren and 2 by Tom Netherton, one a double lp set....thanks for posting these shows... imagine, going back to these older shows because there's nothing but junk being made today !!!! Oh, forgot, a Christmas lp by the Lennon Sisters
I have quite a few LPs as well, but I think only one by Netherton. If you have or ever find any Welk video material that someone recorded on VHS or such, I would be willing to buy them off of you to convert and add to my channel. I’m always trying to find new material with the goal of archiving every show possible.
@@LawrenceWelkLPs If I ever run across any videos II'll let you know ... really appreciate your channel.
Oh when times were simpler lol idk i watched these programs with my grandparents lol and they were re runs but i always enjoyed them
My wife and I just found this episode last night. My wife was not raised in America. So I wanted her to see it. I was explaining how The Lawrence Welk Show was my great grandmother's favorite show. How she would watch it every Saturday night. It was pretty much as I remember. I wanted to say we were both so very impressed with Ralna and Guy singing, He is good, but Ralna was amazing. She has this incredible resonance in her voice that is also enhanced by her Texas accent.
Wonderful memories. Great music. Amazing entertainment.
This first aired on PBS on November 14, 1987.
I'm pretty sure my 6 month old son is the reincarnation of my great-grandfather, because these shows settle him down faster than Cocomelon. Props to my grandparents for introducing me when I was little.
We Love Lawrence welk music
You can really tell that George likes directing and bringing the orchestra together.
One gets the impression that he was a more exacting leader than Lawrence.
