Same. That's why I love the song doubt because I can relate to it in my own personal life as a Christian. Especially when it says "even when I doubt you I'm no good without you" Sometimes I find myself doubting God but then I realize that I'm no good without God and it's awesome that someone put my thoughts into words.
You know why he loves his own music, because its his. Ive had time where I record my voice and some lyrics I wrote and I listen to it over and over again. There's nothing like sitting back and just looking, listening, etc at what you created. Much like God on the 7th day! I'm glad to hear they are Christians! Breaking the stereotypes. I'm in a band and we all go away, practice then come back together and play music and hangout and just see what each other want to do and show what we are working on and just listen to music. Even though I am the drummer I am actually writing basically an album of my own thoughts and what reflects around me from myself and other people. It is quite fun to write and show to my band members. They really like the two I've (kind of) perfected. My first two proper songs I've made. The song titles are "Dark Star" and "Bottomless Pit". I actually like them quite a lot. So yeah, don't worry if YOU think it sounds bad, I'm sure lots of people will love it. If they don't, try and write and play/sing or whatever something that you love or are feeling and I'm SURE somebody will love it. Seriously.

I love the fact that there's an actual kind of alternative band (that fit in with the category of ATL, SWS, PTV) and bands like those who are also Christian. I've always wanted to go into music and become something like them, but I never knew of a band who was Christian and it always made me wonder if people would look at me the same. It didn't seem like there were many people representing good kindhearted Christian musicians in the alternative, "punk" media besides actual Christian Rock bands (lSuch as Skillet.) I'm glad to see that they can make it this far regardless of their religious beliefs. I know it may not seem like much, but I'm someone who has to state when talking about my religion "I'm a good Christian, I'm not like judgmental or anything, that's my dad." And people tend to not really like me anyhow because I'm Christian so it does make an impact that they can make it this far being Christian and be so proud to talk about it.
Haha, the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack for SNES is still an inspiration to me musically. I laughed when he said that inspired him because I feel the same way.
This interview is amazing. Interviewers like this are truly doing their job- asking original, interesting questions that are equally about the musicians themselves and the music that they make. The interviewer had awesome personality and Tyler gave excellent answers to excellent questions. 10/10
This is probably the best Twenty One Pilots interview I have ever watched. Like they are both into the conversation and there's no awkward pauses or silences. I used to take a journalism class in my freshman year of High School and this is a great example of how to conduct an interview properly.
I love how personable he is, I just feel like I know him even though I don't lol. And I love how real they are.....you should love your music! Keep being real and your music will stay real.
