I think the same, I discovered him at 13 years old, in the Bark at the moon era.
Boy, that was something. He was there among the best with Iron Maiden and Dio. The guy looks like a living zombie since forever but still managed to get some of the best musicians in the world , create some incredible songs and entertain entire generations. Younger people may not grasp how this was so refreshing, groundbreaking and lifesaving at the time. Best years of my life.
Luc Bellavance i was born soon after Ozzmosis but my mom grew up an Ozzy fan and went to a few of his concerts (Black Sabbath and solo). So I’ve heard the stories and read his book. It’s incredible what he managed to do while on the amount of drugs he was on. Huge fan and can’t wait for his new album.

Jake said he actually left Ozzy's band because he was no longer able to handle Ozzy's mood swings. The only one who could be patient with Ozzy was Randy Roads, and maybe Geezer Butler. I'm sorry Jake because he's a fantastic musician. But he is not a strong enough man. I don't understand physically, emotionally.
@@Jharrison6014 Zakk really didn't tell Ozzy he was "drinking too much." How could he have said, since at that time he was almost a kid who had lost his parents at a very young age. It was your own tragedy. He might have understood Ozzy and therefore didn’t bring it up for him. I don't know if Randy Roads understood. But Randy really wanted to help Ozzy because he recognized something in Ozzy that Ozzy had written about for a long time - and the reality is that he knew best, so he replied to Randy, "you know, I I am active". Ozzy knew why he was active. Since 1979, he has been aware of this. If Zakk had told Ozzy the same thing, I doubt Ozzy would have told him the same thing.

But Ozzy is still here and continues to entertain us with his music and famously sharp, sarcastic humor. I love Ozzy too, because he’s honest. He speaks honestly about his not-so-bright past, his actions, inspiring others - including his five children - so that his example would not be the example of others. She didn’t have an easy and too beautiful life, so she tries to make others as beautiful as possible. Either way, we can only be grateful to him for that. When he needed help, he didn’t get it. He strives to be received by others.☺

Metal Day at the '83 US festival.........I wasn't there but I have it on an old VHS tape. I was 15 years old. My parents worked until 5:00. We got out of school at 3:00. My house backed up to our high school. My friends and I would jump the fence.....smoke a couple joints....and go inside to rock that tape. Great times.

Jake is a great guitarist no doubt. But he isn’t Randy Rhoads successor if he was he would of lasted longer than he did. Jake was a great fill in for a album or two until Oz found the true successor Zakk Wylde.
Davi Clar problem was Oz is the man. Jake thinks a lot of himself and was brought in by Oz. Zakk still calls Oz “The Boss” to this day for good reason. Jake is a legend in his own mind always has been. Let’s face it Jake hasn’t done much since Ozzy, it’s what he is remembered for........

She didn't care who the best replacement for RR was. Zakk probably did as he was told and got the money they would've paid Daisley once he was gone for good.
and I know it's subjective, but to any guitar player, Jake was and is streets ahead of Zakk in pretty much every way. People still can't figure out how to play songs like BATM properly, let alone with Jake's fluidity, articulation and tasty phrasing & tone

Sharon didn’t do anything that any normal married american women does in any average marriage, this was just on a bigger scale obviously. No guitarist was going to take control over Ozzies dynasty and Sharron made sure of it. Bad on Jake for not realizing his place. Zakk only profited in the long run if what you say is true. Zakk now has a company making his own signature instruments and a very successful band of his own BLS. What does Jake have.... oh that’s right memories of making 2 albums with Ozzy over 30 years ago, and a band called Red Dragon that most haven’t even herd of......Oh and a bad additude of the past, which he should be grateful for and isn’t....

I´m not a metal fan, but i do love the classics. One of the things that i don´t like about metal live performances, is the over the top theatrical gestures guitarrists or singers does. Ozzy have no rythm, is not a great songwriter, just average voice, but surely has been lucky to had amazing bands and songwriters in his back. Being a filty drug adict the way he were and with just an average talent, is amazing how this man managed to get in his 70's with health, with such a grand base of fans and wealth. Unbelievable.
