I love your Impossible Shape series. This is the one shape (Pentacle) that I already knew how to draw, but your shading makes all the difference in the world and brings out the magickal aspect. You're incredibly talented, especially with the ability to draw straight lines freehand. I do agree that the guidelines in this one were too light, but I just skipped ahead. Peace and love, keep drawing!
Thank for sharing this - I made the original in the year 2,000 on St. Patrick's day 17th March and still have the original, although I have the copyright I only ever wanted to share it with the world for free. Brilliant video btw. And thanks :)

Good idea.. The eye of ra is a popular symbol.. I drawn many designs over the years but never made a video of me designing one so that is on my to do list.. As for the tribal angel and devil wings in the background, this is very subjective and don't think it would work for a design video.. But I will definitely do an Eye of Ra design...

u really need to draw the lines darker like I have / had no problem with the drawing except u can't see the lines which makes it so much harder than it has to be but hey thanks for the video keep it up!

That impossible star is quite UNimpossible its just never ending u are bling people!
If it is "unimpossible" (you can just say possible) then try to sculpt it or make it in a 3-D CAD program.
Its not anymore "just never ending" than any other star its just woven in its self, each side goes from one spot in the star to the other but it goes over the first intersecting star it comes to and under the second

Still trying but now iv'e discovered that I struggle with the correct angle whilst searching for the places for the cross overs. I think that some proportions would be good and small markers on the cross over lines.

Sorry if I missed it but did you mention what number pencil you use for your drawing and shading? Yes I had difficulty seeing at first but as you darkened the lines I could see how you were achieving the design. Nice job and thanks for the tutorials.

This isn't an illusion, it's simple a drawing of a star that has been given an 3D touch, but it does look very cool ^^

You can make it, it's not as simple as bending a long piece of wood into a star shape, though

I love this drawing a lot but found it harder than some others because it was so faint and therefore hard to follow. The steps are important because the eye sees but the brain records and repetition becomes success. I want to draw them as you do. Still trying though and love this site.

It's good but it's not perfect, look at the upper right tip, the lines should be parallel. I'm glad you've put it in a book and over a million have seen it, I have seen dozens now, but not many are perfectly proportioned.

I couldn't see a damn thing at the beginning....after reading some of the comments, I wasn't the only one, lol. This is a great optical illusion and sure - if you work at it, you'll figure it out....but sure would be nice if the tutorial was just a bit more visible :)

It doesn't matter if you cant see the beginning, cause an artist draw his or her OWN way - not another way.
If you just sit down, and open your mind, i will bet you can draw this too - AND in your OWN style :-)
