This video is more useful than the directions that come with the ignition switch.... Tried for an hour with what the instructions said (which was to also remove the cylinder lock) after it not working I found and watched this video, did exactly what he did and boom it started first try 😅
bought my 04 Gmc Envoy from a family friend. it had 122,000 miles on it 2 years later now 130,000. I love it but the gas really sucks in the city lol AC though thats a different story. it has AC its juts not blowing through the top front air space. it blows through the bottom , back, and those air holes near the wind shield. vents . just not the front vent for some reason.. any advice?
Trial and error , but from the side by side clip you can si that just as soon as the gap isn’t seen it could work . If not just pop it out and move it Half a tooth or so
I have a 2006 GMC envoy. Will cold start but after driving for about 30 minutes it will just die. When trying to start it will just turn over. If I wait about 2 or so hours it will start up. You think that could be the problem?
Best detailed video on the tubes
@@scoutmaddoxg I appreciate that 👍

Thanks man! This is definitely going into the car playlist for potential future repairs!
Thanks for the support. Hope the video helps you👍
@@KevinNadeau my steering wheel lock is currently broken so yeah it probably will soon 😂
@@KevinNadeau hey just curious since you have a 2004...are your keys programmed?
@@stickit2theman1 I don’t believe so. There is no “chip” at the base of the key where it meets the grip part.
Thanks

How's your Envoy? I have had mine for 3 years now. Started at 161,000 miles, now I got my truck to 203,000 miles. I love my Envoy. ❤❤
It’s still running good. I’m getting closer to 350k…about 343k right now😀

What do you do if the old gear was turned without being marked?
Watch at the 1:33 mark, that’ll give you an idea of how the gear should be positioned

It’s possibly the ignition switch
What was it?
Are you sure this guy did the work? He tries to explain everything but doesn't show shit... 😂😂😂😂😂
I definitely did the work 😀 The truck is still running 👍
