Why is the audio in this video so quiet? I can't hear anything without blasting the volume. Your team needs to learn more about how to author videos for uploading to CZcams.

The content is indeed interesting, but the speaker's voice has an almost soporific effect.

Section 230 protects social platforms from lawsuits over user content so that users can post freely on these platforms. But when social media companies pick and choose what content can stay posted, it should be considered to be a liable 'publisher or speaker'

Yeah and then they get sued and don’t allow ANY content online or worse, allow ALL content including porm, snuff, etc and argue wilful ignorance. This only leads to censorship of the smaller channels in favour of big and safe channels. You guys are ducking idiots

Just use your brain and think through what tech companies would do if they were liable for everything that their users post, they wouldn’t let anyone “unsafe” post

Currently this helped them escape accountability for allowing and currently still allowing a huge platform and huge income for monkey abuse it is open and rampant and reporting them does nothing

the internet of then has changed to the internet of now. The problem is really the first amendment and what you can say to whom and to how many.

Did you really say the first amendment is a problem

@@genieharris1505 many Democrats seem to think The First Amendment is problematic as long as their views aren’t censored or shadow banned.
Enabling or supporting limits on free speech now will eventually backfire.
Historically there’s never been a time of complete equilibrium between the favoring of conservative vs progressive ideas, the pendulum swings back and forth.
After a time of progressive views there’s always been a cultural shift towards the favoring of more conservative values.
This push and pull has been going on since the early days of mass media.
Democrats are making a big mistake thinking that their views are somehow superior to those of conservatives. Any regulations enacted now is guaranteed to effect liberals eventually. This is why it’s dangerous to call for restrictions on free speech, it’s extremely shortsighted, no matter what political side you are on.
