On the 14th August 2024 we all flew to Menorca as a Group Trip between 5 TTE Mods and it was Fantastic. Probably one of the best days this year. We flew 30 Year Old G-LSAN - Jet2Holidays Boeing 757-200; Great Views of Takeoff and Landing and at the end hit by a Thunderstorm at Son Bou Beach in Menorca! Only on a Group Trip!
We Flew out of MAN T2 and Departed RW 05L on a bleak Wednesday morning, but nothing was holding that Boeing 757 Back!

One of TTE's best-ever videos and probably the most entertaining. Three separate cameras, including one providing 360-degree views and a much wider perspective, follow Sam (TTE) and five other Moderators on his channel through T2 at MAN onto one of Jet 2's very special remaining 757-200s. Several different wing views provide stunning sound and vibration during take-off, and probably the best-ever views of the in-flight speed brakes and flap extension, then finally the ground spoilers. A bus trip to the beach resort of Son Bou and a terrific storm round off an incredibly enjoyable trip report.

The hydraulic flap extension/retraction sounds on the 757 is my favourite after the 737NG/MAX - old school unique in my opinion

I'm currently editing my trip report to Tenerife on the A321 NEO, I asked the captain about the 757 retirement and he said "I think January is the last but it seems to be changing" Funnily enough, like most times, I was possibly the only proper avgeek on the flight, lol🤣

Also are the toilets that much quieter on the 75's? On the NEOs and MAXs the toilets are as loud as heck, lol🤣

I flew on G-LSAN from MAN-FAO almost 2 years ago now. It was my first flight on a 757 and it's like a slim 747 with RB211s

was this the 31st august? I ask this because I flew out on that date and I see the aircraft I am pretty sure I was on,, it wasn't my flight if it was due to the time you are at the airport however looks identical to GetJet LY-CIN a 22.5 year old 737
