She’s much older and looks like an aunt to him. He’s appropriate and respectful and honored. He’s already, 24/7 surrounded by enough legendary and extremely “naturally” beautiful women in his family and otherwise all his life, nothing special about her that he needs to steal kisses from her. The woman is speaking in pure urdu at the beginning and then the song is in urdu/&hindi. Urdu is a very poetic and romantic language spoken in parts of India and is the national language of Pakistan. It is like 95% hindi and has some extra words that come from Arabic influence and the scripture is also in the Arabic style. Bollywood loves using urdu as it sounds nicer than pure hindi.
Better? No. Its just the influence of both languages. As bollywood has lots of muslim/urdu speaking people. To me, all languages sound great.

Chaand raat is the night of the moon sighting when Muslim's eagerly wait for the sight of the moon so we know when eid is. Im afraid u have taken this song very literally.ghagra is the full skirt she is wearing but it suggestive of her sexuality.ranbir who is young & arrogant strolls in & teases her when she claims her fame 4 her game.her rejects her attraction & tells her she is jaded & nothing 2 scream about. It is funny,full of innuendo & flirtacious at the same time being impertinent & arrogant.she in return points out his inexperience & calls out his judgement as the folly of a boy as he lacks the taste of an experienced man.in the end he kisses her as an apology showing his jest.of course translations are very literal & unfortunately most of the appeal gets lost.
