The OG QNTM had primeknit with reflective stripes, the BSKTBL one had a plastic cage and less 3M since that was the reason why it was banned in the NBA. The Barium is a fusion of the two.
Even in hindsight, you were right about the prices dropping. Now is my time to finally get a pair and try them for myself.
I need these in all black with glow cage and 3m. Yea the Bariums will drop but as more colorways drop the originals will go up too.

Great review! 🔥!!! When you say True To Size, how much space you have from your toe (a cm, a half cm)? You always mentioned in detailed the width prospective but never the length. Would appreciate if you can add that in your vids. Thanks buddy! More power!!!
I would say your toe hits at the middle of the the Grey suede panel. It’s almost like you have a tiny bit of room in the heel. It’s definitely supportive, not pure primknit sock-like comfort, but I can see how it would be great for basketball.

How do these fit compared to ultraboosts?
The Quantum Basketball version has a translucent TPU cage similar to the Barium’s, but also there’s more padding in the ankle area and the a flatter angle inwards. It also doesn’t have as much 3M comparatively; no zig zag ones beneath the TPU cage. Seth Fowler describes the differences fairly well in his Barium review. The lifestyle Quantum are the same as the Barium’s except the toebox color, TPU cage and reflective panel beneath the cage. You showed the wrong image (it was still the lifestyle) before the side by side adidas images. Look at 2:51 again and you can see most of the differences on the basketball one (left) vs the lifestyle one (right).

The Quantum model is a very cool silhouette. I have the QNTM Lifestyle and the Barium and I like the QNTM more. Don't get it twisted though, the Bariums will be beaters for sure. The darker upper helps with that.

Also there isn’t a basketball version of the barium. Just lifestyle which is why there isn’t ankle support and has the 3M. Might wanna figure this stuff out before doing a review. Food for thought tho.

I manage to cop this below retail on the resale market. I totally love the looks on these and the comfort is amazing especially for a wide footer like me. Only downside is that it can get pretty warm as the material is quite thick

Normally in all other yeezys I have to go a full size up. On these a full size was maybe a bit too much lol. The shoe it’s ok the tongue and foot opening are huge lol. I still like them but they do fit big as shit.

No TTS means for me what I fit in most shoes.for 350 v2 I fit half size up. So I suggest half down from your 350 v2 size

The difference between OG lifestyle and basketball versions Is the lifestyle is a prime knit. Basketball version is tpu cage. Lifestyle has 3m strips basketball version has no 3m. Basketball version is a higher cut than lifestyle version. Barium is a combination of both lifestyle and basketball.

Yup JD KICKS on splash page adidas no luck copping .I don’t bother only go for the adidas raffles. I don’t really like the barium brown color would preferred shades of black and grey but shoe frontal def looks 🔥 tho. The back looks like a 🐬 or 🐳 face. Detailed review as usual

Difference between the bball and lifestyle on the first release was the 3M (no on bball) and the lifestyle uppper was just the knit while the bball was reinforced w a cage like rubber over the knit. I think on the Barium tho the cage like reinforcement is present unlike on the first lifestyle release.
As far as Adidas online releases I decided years ago I refuse to sit in front of a computer for hours in front of a splash page to possibly cop a shoe. I mean Adidas splash pages are several hours long. Not doing it. Especially for a release where resale is like a hundred or so over retail. I'll just pay if I really want it. Use to always have success on Supply but I think Adidas might be handling that release now.

Honestly not a fan of the Barium colourway. I definitely prefer the original colourway
I used two Google chrome accounts and got in twice but I couldn't get sizes I wanted. I ended up getting a 7 and a 5.5 for resell but honestly I may just return the shoes bc rn resale is lower than the retail price after the fees
