Dried out Paradise Valley in Morocco (Agadir) - 4K

  • It has not rained for the last 5 years, the people from the villages said. Walking though the 'Paradise Valley', where most of it is dried out shows how dependent we humans are from the element water. Still, this area is astounding because you see all the geological structures and stones, made by water over the years. Such a peaceful place far away from the rush in the big cities like Marrakesh.
    I visited this place with a friend in late 2019, when we traveled the west part of Morocco. Paradise Valley is located about 40 km from Agadir. Probably the best way to get there is for sure from Agadir. There are plenty places to stay around this area and really good local food from the berber people there.
