Sriman Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in Navadwip, West Bengal around 500 years back and spread the Sankirtan movement. He is the father of the Hari Naam Sankirtan movement which is now in every town and village of the world.
Lord Sri Krishna descended as devotee of Krishna Himself in the form of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in order to teach the population art of surrendering to the Lord.
He establishes the Achintya Bheda Veda Tatwa. His teachings are spread by His disciples the Goswamis of Vrindavan and after them Their followers in line. The Acharyas have summarised the whole teachings of Mahaprabhu in 10 points. These ten points are also known as Dasa Mula Sikhya.
