I went from using an electric bike to a gas scooter and it was the best thing I ever did. Low cost on gas, can park anywhere ( I live in a very populated metro area). I yielded more money on UberEats with a scooter. If y’all are contemplating switching to motor Scooter do it.
Do you get shorter distances with a scooter than you would with a car?
ABSOLUTELY! electric scooters n bikes are a nice toy but it you need to cover serious mileage reliably and no fuss it's only gas scooter. they're tank n go baby! I have 8k miles clocked on mine already as a factory worker and the little bugger made golden every cent i invested in it! I've had cars before but have always felt that cringe when driving then cause they bleeding money and you're aware of it every second you're in them. not so with scooter - it's laughable just how little they spend. 1 work hour in cash keeps it fueled for a week!
as a man of modest means i proudly proclaim SCOOTERS ALL THE WAY!
This is the best video ever, I'm about to start in a few days, im still waiting for approval..thanks a lot Man!!!
Great video, i wish i did that while i was in chicago, not in winter time though lol. Keep up the great work.
Whew! I can't imagine doing this during the winter on a scooter. Maybe a snowmobile 😂
Thanks for the video, A lot of useful information/advice.
I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, or if you've figured it out on your own but,
Zipties, to hold the crate to the rack on the scooter,
or if you're using it to carry the delivered items some hook type connectors (think jeep hood clamps)
would be safer and more sturdy than the ratchet straps.
Thanks again duder!
Hey man! I appreciate the solid feedback. Yeah I saw another delivery person with zip ties and felt like an idiot for my current set up 😂 I'll definitely give it an upgrade soon!
Great job with this video. I'm looking into doing it here in San Luis Obispo, Ca, but worried about too many people already doing this as well?
Only thing I recommend in terms of gear is the Cardo system to build into your helmet. Aside from music, it will play the directions in your helmet via the voice prompts.
Good ideas, really like the channel
What size is the motor on your scooter and the top speed? Also whats the make and year? looking into getting into it around here and wondering what to look for. Thanks! Love your videos.
Started rewatching your journey to keep me on mine
Seems like alot of advantages to doing Uber Eats from a scooter. Very informative thank for the video!
The main benefit is miles per gallon. Most scooters get about 40 to 50 miles per gallon. You can make really good money doing Uber eats on a moped.
@@Shurmash 2021 I will be starting on an escooter which gives me range till 60 miles... wish me luck
It's unfortunate that they don't allow bikes over 50cc.
I was thinking about doing this with my little 250 because it's almost as economical as a scooter.
Check with Uber. It depends on your market. Here I can't, but somewhere else you may be able to.
So true about looking good at the drop off point. Ive had ppl deliver my food from between their feet on the scooter..wearing dirty sandals 🤢 .. cancelled them immedietly
Good video to learn how to drive for Uber Eats, Doordash and other food delivery in South Africa , for new drivers to learn, drive and earn very good money. Thank you. Good luck with your youtube channel Brother. God bless you.❤️✌️👍💕😁
heres my problem it wont let me register my moped only a car or bike so do i just sign up as a bike
What type of moped would y’all recommend for doing food delivery ? 😊
You’re the best I’ll share this with everyone I know so we can start up this business you should be in marketing
Hey Daniel, I really appreciate the kind words. I'm so happy to got value from my video! Feel free to check back in and let me know how it goes 🤘
whats the max speed allowed with scooter on ubereats?
What scooters are recommended? Whats the one on the video
Good stuff. I have a Honda Silverwing. I want to start doing this. I woke get the insane good mileage that you have though.
Thank you
This was great advice but I'm signed up for doordash can I sign up with Uber eats at the same time
can you do it on a motorcycle? I am thinking about a yamaha r3
Hi sir . I am in Vancouver and scooter are little bit expensive. plz can tell me the name of the scooter and where to buy it. Thanks
I live on Florida I’m doing Doordash and I’m interested in purchasing a scooter 50cc , my question is my regular car driver license is valid for this scooter ? And do I need to register and get a plate for the scooter once I purchase one ? And also get insurance ? And what is the Max speed usually on this 50cc scooters ?
No special license needed for 50cc and below in Florida.
Top speed without mods is 35-40
Can you use a 125 zuma ??? Are they allow
Hi Alex, I believe in my area it needs to be 50cc or below but I have been told by others that they deliver with larger motors as well 👍
Where did you get the phone mount and the back compartment attachment
Honestly, the phone mount is off an old bicycle that I had and the back compartment came with the scooter already. Sorry, I'm sure that's not very helpful 😭
You can by one on Amazon, for this type of scooter it usually can be mounted in the mirror.
Nice dude
Where did yu get yo phone mount ?
It's posible That 2 persona ride on a scotter on te state You live?
Name of the motorcycle please?
I got a scooter I bought for 200 dollars last year from a tow yard I ride every day and wanna do this
Do it bro I just bought one off fb and I just started I’m making good amount of money on free time
Can you elaborate more on how you handled drinks or pizzas, and other hard to deliver items not suitable for the crate?
Just an insulated bag or could you just choose not to take those order? I forget if Uber eats let’s you see that much details about the order beyond the pay and distance.
Which scooter do you use ?
the insurance on my scooter is $650 BUT thats only because its brand new. (like hasnt left my drive way yet new).
I am already making about 1,200 a week in 5 days using a regular road bike in L.A. I'd like to get a Honda ruckus or any scooter. What kind of scooter do you have? It looks nice. I'd like to get a scooter for work and for fun. It gets kind of boring just staying in one area with a bike. A scooter helps if I go outside of downtown especially where there are steep hills.
That's pretty great though. Mine is a TGB Key West 50cc and runs really well. I'd definitely look into getting a scooter though because it will offer you a lot more opportunity but still keep your costs really low. Let me know how it goes!
Wow you're making 1200 a week on a bike? I plan on moving to Tampa and using a moped so that sounds like a plan.
External battery? fit your moped out with a charger port.
That would be a great option too. I like that the external batteries are portable so I can them with me when I'm walking and keep my phone charging 👍
Hey thanks for all the info. Can you please let me know where you brought this scooter from. Thank you
And thanks for the video all the best❤️
Thanks Sham. I actually bought this off of Facebook Marketplace used. I'm sure you could find a similar deal as well 🤘
Hey everybody, don't forget to use my invite link if you decide to give the Uber Eats side hustle a try:

Thanks for watching 🤘
Hey man I would appreciate if you would give me a link to buy this scooter 🛵 thanks man
Bro, i try your promo code it’s expired already do you have a another one?
@@jhaythree1788 Dang, that's weird! Make sure there wasn't any typos. I don't know why it wouldn't work 🤷♂️. It still shows it's active for me. Let me know and I hope you get it 👍
my email address was changed and I can't go forward on my Uber account I tried almost all the recommended hackers on here but it was only *cohacking__* on Instagram who got my uber account reactivated he's so fast and a genius.
I just want to know how do I add scooter as a vehicle so I can start doing deliveries
Can I use an electric scooter, for uber eats ?
Type of e-scooter weight 102 lbs
Up to 62+ mph.
That's definitely a question for UberEats. You'll have to ask them!
Man, Where can i find a 500 aud scooter ?
How do you do drinks??
Hey Michael, I would definitely recommend buying a carrier of some sort. Personally, I just hold them with a drink carrier from the restaurant. I haven't had a problem but don't really get drinks that often.
super impressive you got one for $500. i can't find one under $1,000 for the life of me. Facebook marketplace seemed to have the cheapest, but also they were not running for under 1,000. Where did u buy yours used?
I bought this on FB marketplace, but it was also about 2 years ago that I bought. A lot has changed since then lol. I imagine they are much harder to come by now.
What was your top speed?
What type of scooter do you recommend, I’ve been. Thinking really hard about getting one to do Uber eats with by the beginning of 2023
Did referral pal hope it work im in uk shouldn't make difference should both get little sonthing
Why no pizza carry case?---Isn't large pizzas like $20 each?...which would lead to a bigger bill = bigger tip?
You definitely could if you'd like. I mention in this video that if you're going to be doing this a lot I would recommend an insulated bag. There are some really awesome ones on the market if you're looking 👍
Is uber take the scooter of 50cc so i don't have to give any licence
Hey there,
The need for a license will entirely depend on where you're located so I can't say for certainty if you need one or not. Although, I would imagine that you would.
@@MissionSideHustle i am in Adelaide can i start uber on scooter without license

How did you get it for $500?
Man I was hoping you're going to show us how to actually sign app I've been going through hell trying to use multiple different delivery apps and it's so hard to do it with a moped.
They won't offer my make and model they ask for a driver's license even though where I'm at you don't need a driver's license to drive mopeds but I don't have a driver's license. Is difficult
So u do need insurance??? Ithought 49 cc u dont??
From what I understand it depends where you live. Uber Eats was a little unclear with me. At one point they asked for insurance and the next time they didn't...so I still don't have a solid answer as to what they want exactly. I know for where I live, it isn't required by law.
Do you need a driver's license for it ?
Depends where you live I would imagine. I would say most likely yes.
It’s a bummer it has to be 50cc. They can’t go fast enough for a lot of towns
Cc is the engine base 250 I think is the biggest a scooter can go pretty much I believe they all go to the exact same mileage when it comes to mph it all depends on how fast it gets up to it so the bigger the engine the faster you can get up to the end cycle of the expiration date of your speed
If that makes sense I had a 50 or 49 but I turned it to a 90cc my mechanic said since all the modifications I put into it it’s more like a hunterdcc all I Gotta do now is put a high-performance stater in it I’m not doing any more modifications to it is not worth it after that pretty much my engine will be fully modded out that’s all I really care about
Do you need any licenses?
Hi Mohammad, thanks for your question. I'm not entirely sure as it likely depends on where you are located. I am located in Florida and Uber does require that I have a driver's license. Your best bet would be to download to app and see what they require of you once you get started. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best of luck 👍
✌🏼
What you mean 70£ per year insurance? What website?
Just off of Progressive Insurance here in the US. It could be different based on where you live of course.
do I need any driving license to ride this scooter?
Generally, scooters below 50 cc do not need a license. Those above 50cc need a license in most states. Keep in mind 50cc scooters only do about 25 mph.
I do Uber Eats on a scooter in Taiwan LoL
👍
I’m in Polk county Haines city hey neighbor
you cant do this with a yamaha majesty scooter? its a 400cc scooter
I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure UberEats requires 50cc or less unfortunately.
Here in the LA market they don't allow anything more than 50cc which is dumb because Postmates will allow just about any vehicle.
Where did you bought the scooter that cheap
Any details
Try Facebook market people always getting rid of scooter because they either got cars or it’s too heavy
Do you need Driver license?
Hi André, thanks for your question. I'm not entirely sure as it likely depends on where you are located. I am located in Florida and Uber does require that I have a driver's license. Your best bet would be to download to app and see what they require of you once you get started. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best of luck 👍
Shit. I don't know where in the heck you got your Scooter Insurance. For my 150cc new scooter my Insurance with Progressive was $120 down and $50 per month for the year.
"Insurance is only 70 dollars a year" Yea if you have a 750/800 credit score, otherwise moped insurance is a minimum of 42 dollars a month. Stupid BS (Social Credit Score System) isn't coming it's always been here since the 30's...
Uber eats require a driver license to do it with scooter, what if you don’t have a driver license? Do I just go to the dmv office and ask how to get a scooter licences?😂
Haha I all depends on your local municipality. No matter what, I think Uber will want to see you have a driver's license for their own liability. I could be wrong though, check into it 👍
Yes... As he said, check with your local laws. I live in Westchester, NY and we don't need a Driver's License for 50cc scooters here (just a car or moto learner's) but your scooter has to be registered, plated, and insured. My next state, Connecticut, 50cc scooters don't even have to be registered, plated, and you only need a state ID, but your scooter has to be insured. Starting my Uber Eats journey tomorrow! Lunch and Dinner time is the Goal!
How many miles does your scooter has now? Or when you bought it 🤔😎 omg this is an inspirational video!!!
Awesome Carolina, I'm so glad you liked it! Honestly, I'd have to go back and check how many miles it had when I bought it. I'll have to report back with more accurate numbers for you 😂
I bought my scooter and now I’m doing doordash. I feel nobody notices how hard it is to work in the sunlight: I live in Tampa and every day it’s hot and sunny, so you get burned easily. I was dehydrated my first day when I started. One thing is doing doordash in a car with a/c on and one thing is doing deliveries with a scooter with so much heat. And just like you, I’d never gonna accept any pizza orders bc mine got screwed
Ur scooter have licenses
Hello I would like to do something like you are doing, I am homeless and wanting to use my stimulus money li to get started, I don't currently have a DL due to it lapsed when I was in the U.K
What I need to know, what type of moped is good, it is very confusing to try and figure out what scoot would be good.
But I think I would get a Yamaha... I want something that is not going to break down every 5 miles.. but I could be wrong... so if you could, could you please advise me on what to get.. I thank you for any come back.
I live in AZ .. so I doubt I would be of any competition for you..
I bought a Yamaha vino 125 for this myself. I'm currently in the process of getting things set up so I can do this myself but I think it would be a pretty good starter scooter. It's my first scooter so I can't compare to other ones I've heard of but I like how smooth the drive and acceleration has been. It can get past 40 mph just fine if I have to go faster and it didn't break the bank compared to other used125cc scooters out there. Though if you don't have many roads in your area that go over 35 mph then you could get by on a 50cc scooter for sure. Check out fb marketplace and you'll be able to get some deals, I got mine for under 1000 but you can probably find a much better deal than me lol (I found a better one the day after I bought mine)
Ok sorry, just realized they require a scooter with less than 50cc in some areas so I'd check that out first. But I know the Yamaha vino also comes in a 50cc model. You could also check out genuine brand scooters or get a find a cheap Yamaha Zuma. They're pretty reliable from what I've heard. I know the genuine roughhouse is pricier but I think its nice how they have a phone charger in their scooter but you could always get a portable battery because the app really drains your battery
@@KitKat-nz3up Thank you for the reply, I will get something Yamaha, and yes I will be starting off with something under 50cc , But will put everything back into my company to upgrade ASAP.
How much does that scooter cost?
@@MissionSideHustle best of luck for your mission bro...love from nepal❤️
Lol would this be possible if u put bike when ur applying so that u don't have to pay for food insurance but in reality ur doing it in a moterbike or a car
Uber will know immediately that you're using a motor vehicle by your speed. They'll ban your account fast and you won't be able to earn a living with them again. Don't cheat the system.
Just to save some money, risking life, I was hit by a careless older driver, because blind spot, lost conscious for a few minutes. If you get flat tire, scooter must be towed no spare tire to change, sure you save a little money if nothing happens, but is less safe.
@@MissionSideHustle that is different story, and it is understandable if people have no choice, scotter or bike.
I have a 150cc scooter. Uber sucks for that stupid rule.
Some markets are different and will allow them from my understanding. I know for me, it had to be 50cc or less. But others have told me they've signed up with more.
Selling your scooter
Sell me that scooter lol.
Bull shit they me down as a bicycle Las Vegas
gf spent 1375 for her new scooter
Get a bluetooth helmet.
3 tips if anyone tries this
1. If this is you are new at riding 2 wheels on the street. DON'T. Learn to ride, become confident and fluent on a bike before you add the extra distractions of preforming a job duty on top of learning to ride.
2. As in this video. Wear your helmet. Brain injuries are serious
3. If you secure a crate or object with a strap of any kind, be 100% sure there is no chance of it flapping loose. If a strap catches a part of the driveline or the tire, you can be in big trouble.
Be safe and keep the rubber side down! 👍
Thank you for the awesome videos/channel. New suscriber, watching them in order. Love it!
