As a person suffering from anxiety and agoraphobia (I get really bad anxiety when I leave my house) I just want to say thank you for these amazing videos. There is like a swedish version of this restaurant in Sweden, meaning, it is based on the time of the vikings, and every time a new customer comes, they present the entourage and everyone is clapping, or actually hitting the tables :D

As someone from Britain, I can honestly say that the best fish n chips I've ever had was from the Irish bar in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
NADS IQ Impossible to have tried every chippy in the UK. I was merely stating from personal experience. I'm sure there are chippies in the UK that make the fish n chips I tried in Tokyo taste like roadside dirt, but until I find them, the Irish bar retains its number 1 spot.

I've eaten chicken and fish together on the same plate once, and i started to get confused with what was what flavour wise D:
This sushi looks amazing so far! Do you have tips to how to start on sushi if youre not a big fish fan? I've tried some before and i really struggle with the fishy rice flavour even with kappa maki! Is there a good dipping other than soy to cut the taste and make it more manageable to a sushi heathen like me?
You should try Teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce. Also there is usually a huge variety of duck and chicken sushi in Europe and North America (westernized sushi). Sorry if I am assuming you are from Europe or NA and I am wrong! xD Definitely a good way to start and to get used to the slight fishyness of the Nori leaves. Also you could try avocado instead of kappa makis, the fat enhances the flavours in such a good way. There should be some modern or westernized sushi with fried salmon as well, which might be easier for you to start with than the raw fish sushi options. I hope that helps a little!

Thanks so much for making this video. I was in Japan for the first time for the past 2 weeks and we were wanting to stress up and eat something somewhat traditional before we left. This video came out just in time and we had a blast there. The staff was so nice and the sushi was excellent.
Oh my goodness, so pretty! Going on the bucket list! When they passed the shashimi on that paddle I was so nervous though lol. I would also properly be under the table singing show tunes with just that one glass of sake. 🤗🍣🍶

racays it's easy to lose weight in Japan. I was there 10 day and lots 10 pounds. You walk everywhere there, well if you're cheap and don't want to pay for transportation. 😄

Love the layout, especially of the sushi bar. The entire restaurant seems like is based on a theatre, with the sushi bar as a center piece on "stage" as it should be the main focus of a sushi restaurant. Also, the gradual downward gradient as you go deeper into the space seems like a cave almost as to warmly surround its occupants.
