This is Alexanader Perls AKA 009 Soundsystem AKA Aalborg Soundtracks and his music was free to use for awhile on youtube in 2010 and that's why you heard it.
I've been looking for this song for about 8 years. There was a model railroad CZcamsr who used this in one of his vids and I totally fell in love with it. Problem was, I didn't know who wrote it and the CZcamsr left taking down all of his videos in the process. This morning it just popped up in my list of suggestions.
When you listen to this while watching something over and over with a loop, it will give you no choice to remember that particular idea. My memory gives me Dexter Morgan, the serial killer whenever I listen to this song. :)
Alexander Perls aka 009 sound system has some great tunes, the melodies and the bass are well balanced, in this song, the female vocals are minimal but round out the vibe. Forcing art is always an unmitigated disaster but I honestly want the muse to visit this guy and generate more tunes.
Some people dont like repetitive music, which this artist excells at. tried playing games listening to alex perls and zoned out then died... hard to multi task with such good music.
