Hi,Kurt. I've just watched the interior tour of your wonderful boat. It's the most beautiful boat under 40 feet I've ever seen. I think it even has a better design than the new Nordhavn 41.

Thanks Constantine! That's quite a compliment. Actually, if you look at the profile of the new Nordhavn 41 vs the old Nordhavn 35, they are quite similar. I mentioned this to Jeff Leishman, the designer of both boats and he just smiled!

Jeff you start telling us about the yanmar engine told us had choice of 2 then you got off onto water pressure, to fuel tanks rambling not finishing any of the explanations. Still don’t know what size engine it is. Don’t know any of what you were going to explain about water pressure system or any else of what’s in there. That has been happening lately with you Jeff, start something your eye catches something and you jump to that then jump to some other items that catch your eye and so on. Slow down, we’ll wait for you I have always enjoyed any and all of your you tube. Enjoyed all of your tours, discussions, and talks with all the people you know in the business. So slow down smell the roses and let us enjoy and learn from all of your knowledge of trawlers. Always the best JMYS thanks be well and God Bless

Ha ... That'd be the day I would visit the engine room barefoot. 65 years on the water....

    wing engine needed

Jade, If was going to cross the ocean, yes it would be nice but this is a heavy duty, long distance coastal cruiser. You will be hard pressed to find a reliable engine like the Yanmar on this boat failing. If you keep your fuel and filters clean, they are pretty much bullet proof. I had a wing engine on my Nordhavn 43 and in 10 years and 20,000 miles, it never once was called to duty!

You're Not going to fit a wing in a 35. This is a Small boat.

@@seadog2396 I don't think it really needs a wing from my experience. If it gets too rolly underway, increase the hull speed.

@@kurtantonius5268 It's not about rolling. It's about getting home safe.
Actually, I don't think we're going to see very many people sailing hundreds of miles offshore in a 35.
Can it be done? Sure, but not advisable....
